Just wanted to share my thoughts on Jewels video "What Simple is true" I felt it was truly beautiful. With the white owl and the snow falling with Jewel standing there. And that GORGEOUS guy -- woo hoo!!! The warm lighting in those love scenes were just magnificent! I really loved how symbolic it was with the guy covered in ice and with love, it melts away. It goes with the meaning of the song well. I just felt this video is her best so far! Also, I just got "Joy"!! I remember when she was asked on the Big Breakfast whats her favourite country was and she said the UK in a really sarcastic tone then went serious and said italy and spain because the people are more passionate there. Her promotion over here has been laughable. I do not know one other person who has heard of her over here apart from those who i've told about her and UK EDAs (obviously) Not being rude or anthing but the interviews shes given over here shes been really uninterested and untalkative. Hi there angels. I just got an advertisement from my local K-Mart and in it was an advertisement for Jewel's Christmas album. Well, the thing is that in the picture of the CD the cover of the album shows a different picture than that which is the actual album cover. I've scanned the picture to show you what I mean. My question is...was there a version of the Christmas CD that has a different album cover? If not why is this advertisement showing the CD with a different cover? I haven't been to the store yet to see if the CD they have has a different cover so I don't know what to make of this. Well heres the link: http://members.aol.com/BardMern/Jewel.jpg James M. Not only do they take it without asking you first, but they pass it off as their own, which isn't fair. They even leave the same spelling mistakes that you made. They don't add a link to you & they don't credit you. This is not fair. If you're going to do a website, be original, or do the work yourself, don't let someone else do the hard work so you can turn round & take what they have spent alot of time doing & then you get the credit. I'm sure this has happened to alot of other people. It really feels horrible to know that what has taken you several hours, someone else has taken & copied & put onto their own page in minutes. It takes alot of time to do a webpage & it's wrong for someone else to take a big chunk of what you've done & paste it into their own page. I have no objection with allowing people to use material, but at least have the courtesy to ask first.
