It was taped by a fellow Angel-this is were I give her some mad props- hehe. Thanks Kelly!! I really like this tape. Ok heres the reason I posted- Kelly had 5th row seats(im jealous). Unfortunately her closeness to the stage played havoc with her recorder, the feedback from the bands equipment makes it really hard to hear Jewel through most of the tape. My question for you Techie Angels or List Moderators is: Can the interference be fixed or at least lessened? If this can be done, this tape would make killer angelfood, and i would be glad to dontate my tape. I've had a lot to talk about. Just incase you care to read it, heres my opinion on the New Jewel. I really really like "Spirit". The band had me a tad worried. I thought they would end up changing Jewels sound, they didnt- they rocked. The new single of Jupiter isnt as good as the album version. When ever a band speeds up a slow song, I dont seem to like as much as the original. Im still trying to figure out why Jewel even speed up Jupiter. Who is Jewel trying to impress??? She doesnt need to anything to impress me- I would listen to her if she were still homeless, wearing baggy sweets, and sitting on a San Diego street corner with only her backpack and guitar. Hell! I love the positive message behind it.But what I love more,is that ALL proceeds go to the clearwater project.A lot of artists put out singles or even whole albums and they'll say the proceeds go to a certain charity and then you find out its only like 7% go to the charity or something.But not Jewel!! Nooooo shes giving ALL the money to the clearwater project.That makes me so proud to be a fan of hers,and it makes me proud I bought that single.So go out and buy it and listen to it whenever youre feeling like the world is against you and know that you did something good and revel in the satisfaction!
