Hi, I am the A-#1 Jewel fan in the world. I thought the HGH site was wonderful, but where is the stuff about being affiliated with the Institute of Noetic Sciences from the other site? I thought this was one of the most unique and exciting aspects of the HGH project--to see how the study of human consciousness can bring us all to a higher level. It was uplifting just to know that HGH was interested in promoting the highest levels of human inquiry: the study of higher consciousness. A person cannot really make their best difference in the world without developing their inner powers, and their confidence that they are a remarkable and wonderous being. We need to know ourselves above all. In case you all didn't know, The Institute of Noetic Sciences supports such excellent things as a world conference of scientists and pioneers into the questions of consciousness at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Consciousness is not just for gurus anymore--it is a legitimate area of interdisciplinary scientific investigation. Several Nobel Prize-winning scientists have written books on the topic or are working in the field now! In graduate school, I took a course at the Georgia Mental Health Institute on Psychoneuroimmunology--how the brain and psychology affects the immune system. I am presenting a paper on certain types of cells in the brain, and their possible contribution to consciousness at the Tucson conference. I was excited to know that Jewel supported the Institute for Noetic Sciences which is one of the sponsors of the event! I hope they continue this relationship with them! I really liked the Clearwater Project stuff. This is a HUGE problem for humanity that will only be getting bigger! What a wonderful, spiritual, and poetic thing to want to bring clear, pure water to people! WOW, I love Jewel! Sincerely, Steven E.
