IT was so great seeing her in a dress. It's been a while since we've seen her dressed up. The song was cool. She did sound very different, and pulled off country different then I thought she would. Don't ask me to describe because I can't. I got the USA Today article. It really isn't much. I got the impression it was about Jewel, but it only talked about her a little. There was a nice picture of her sining with Merle on the Front though. I'd better go, it's late. ByE! I think her voice sounds good doing country. Seeing her up there without a guitar is still discomforting though. And she looked very elegant tonight, classy dress, sexy but with pinache, and not too much make-up, any is too much, but compared to Sessions it was a nice improvement. I wouldn't mind seeing Jewel do a country-ish album. Country isn't that far from folk and hopefully she would do a rootsy country album, not another over-produced Spirit-esque effort. She should be striving for early k.d. lang, not the Dixie Chicks.
