I wish they had called yesterday, but there is no way I can get out of work to go see her tomorrow....guess I could call in "dead"...lol... I could get there, but that would mean air fare (I live in NC) and hotel room and 2 days off from work, but I can't afford it. If I had been picked earlier, I would have driven. For those of you attending Sessions tomorrow night, several of us will be meeting up before-hand for some pizza and to talk & hang out. Good question! No, they are two completely different songs & are even in two different languages, hehe... "Per la gloria d'adorarvi" is an operatic piece Jewel learned at Interlochen. She's performed it only a few times over the past few years. It's an aria from the opera "Griselda" by Giovanni Bononcini. In Italian, of course. "Gloria" is a song Jewel wrote in Latin & up until recently was known as "Latin Song". This was written & recorded for the "Spirit" sessions but wasn't used. Jewel recently recorded it again for the holiday album & it will be included on that. I thought the operatic singing on "Amen" was Jewel's most engaging album vocal until I heard "Gloria".
