It's beautiful. Another song I think would make a great song for radio airplay would be a new song (I think it's new?) she's been singing... she doesn't have a title for it yet, but we've been referring to "Does Anyone Believe in Love Anymore?" or "I'll Follow You Down". It's a great song... On Michiel's tapes, (BTW.. they're great!) there's some more "country" songs she wrote... or songs kinda like what the "old" Jewel would play...and They're soooo beautiful. A rock song that'd be good would be "Everyone Needs Someone Sometime". At tampa she only had thechorus written and she made up the verses (supposedly... I don't know, but I kind of doubt she sang different verses at different shows). I can't make out the verse lyrics she sung at tampa, but the song sounded pretty good :) "Do You Want to Play" is one of my favorites too... Country or Rock, I think Jewel can do whatever she wants to do for her next album... she's great at either one. Although her "country" songs are pretty close to the "old" Jewel... I think her rock songs have great potential to get her more airtime on radio and MTV/VH1. When i heard for the first time Fly to me Angel on BBC 2 radio in May did i never expect that she would play that song for the fans (and me) in Offenbach. On the otherhand she doesn't surprised me with her beautiful voice and lyrics. The new countrysongs do have a lot of feelings and soul to be honest. I really love so close to heaven too, that song is wonderful too. Or the song Happy endings which is one of my favourites. I think the countrysongs does justify that Jewel can easily make a new record with those songs. She hasn't teamed up for nothing with Merle Haggard to sing some duets with him , don't you all agree? That's way love goes, is really a good tune and i love it every minute. Just to give Jewel a hint : a countryalbum would be greatly appreciated and maybe in the end Jewel will make such a record. Any way I was channel surfing the other day and I came upon this portugese tv show and heared the host talk about jewel, I don't know how to speak portugese but I heared him say jewel so I guess that caught my attention! after a few minutes of listening to him without understanding a single word, he finally introduced jewel and she performed "hands" she also did an interview and some poetry reading. And after that she performed again and she did ywmfm. which I think is one of the best versions of that song.
