I had tons to do, managed nothing, was exhausted, and when I came to the end of the day, I couldn't fall asleep. so it came to be that I was staring at the TV, when the guys at VH1 Europe did an article+interview on Jewel's visit to the UK (the show, if I am not mistaken, is called "talk music"). it made me feel a bit better, but I still couldn't get to sleep. eventually I turned to serious channel surfing, and on the Spanish channel TVE, around 1:45AM (that's 11:45PM GMT), there was a familiar song... sung by a familiar voice... a Jewel concert. I don't know which concert this was, but it just felt so right at that time. when it was over (I had obviously missed the beginning), I turned off my TV and VCR, and fell asleep with ease. thank goodness for small favours and great concerts.
