So, here's the end of my travel in UK to see Jewel's concerts. So, back from Southampton, I've booked a shared room in the tube. Then, I walked from victoria to The royal albert hall. A really long walk. I arrived at the hall at 1 pm, and so the Coachs and the truck were already there. So I checked the hall, entries and then walked to winchester centre to get some food, and a new camera. Back to the hall, 2pm, I began waiting. Some technicians who were unloading the truck saw me and said "Hey, he was there yesterday, isn't it ?". I think everyone noticed the silly boy, waiting half of a day in front of the concert place yesterday :) . Then I saw the J-Stuff saleswoman unloading her van. So I've walked to talk her and she recronized me too, "Are you going to see all concerts ?". She was really a kind person, and everytime she saw me , she gave me a good smile. I walked around the hall and I noticed 2 english fans waiting. They were waiting for Jewel on the other side of the hall, to make her sign their stuffs. Thas was at the artists doors. I did not noticed this door before. So, it was really hard to choose a side to wait, but, like southampton, I thought that Jewel should be bring to the hall with her coach, so I waited aside the coach, to see if it was leaving to took Jewel at her hotel. The two oher guys were now waiting at the corner of the street, now checking both artist and main door. After 1 or 2 hours, the TV arrived. And so I engaged talking with them, but they did not know If jewel was already inside the hall, and they would have too wait too. And at 5 pm, Someone make them entering to the hall, through the artists door. So, I thought jewel was already inside. And I met a girl from quebec, searching for a ticket, then , Michiel, Roel Cobben, and a girl, (all from holland) waiting in front of the hall. That's wasn't really surprising cos Chris told me that michiel would be there. But I was really happy to see a Friend I usually trade / talk with, and who have travelled from far too. We talk about Last concerts, and Michiel decided to check Jewel's hotel. So they left few minutes and I get back waiting when I noticed the english guys were not anymore at the corner of the street. So I ran to the other side of the hall and, damn ! She has just signed their stuff and I missed her ! But I know she would leave before the concert like the day before. Michiel came back at this moment and was dissapointed too to have missed jewel. So we all were waiting now to the artist entry, and the band arrived with their blue van. Michiel introduced me to doug, and I asked his signature on Jewel's CD, the only signature missing now. I also thank Steve for playing dedicating me starwars last night, and so he recronized me, surprised I was here again. Tony hall recronized me as soon as he get off the van and welcome me too. So we have a long discuss with steve, and he told us he'll try to arrange a concert in europe for us. Then we took pictures and we talked about Jewel. Then I told him she was already inside and he realized that thay should now were waiting for him to do soundtests. So he leaved, knocking one feet again in a step and avoiding to fall. Jewel appeared again after 1 hour, and when she gets off the door, I could hear something like : "I don't want to see them anymore". They she turned back, facing a window, and in fact, was talking with Brady Blade, After 1 minute, someone came to see us and told us to not use camera. and Then Jewel came, signed us our CD and leaved really fast. As the concert was really near, Michiel and his 2 friends from holland have gone to the restaurant and I was now waiting alone, to see the band leaving. Tony hall left the hall few times (maybe go walking to his hotel) and gave me friendly signs when seeing me. Steve and him are really friendly guys. I also discussed with the van driver, wich like other ones, did not know who Jewel was, and never heard of us. He was just talking wis his friend about how much money she would have now after selling all these CD. I also talked with a photographer woman, witch were waiting to took official pictures of the concert. She told me that she sold her pictures to dics companies. She was really friendly too, and I really enjoyed talking with her. Then, there was only 10 minutes left to the beginning of the concert, so I decided to enter in the place. Inside, after walking to my place, I decided to walk around and see If I can find someone I know, and when pushing a window door again, I saw steve coming front of me, and he pushed the door, and we talked again. I told him that It would be the last time I talk him, cos, he would leave fast after the concert, and he said be goodbye and asked me if I was planning to go to the french concert but I told him I could not. I left him, cos he should go to the scene now and after standing a few moments, looking the room, he walked to the backstage. Then the concert started. I 'll not give again the playlist, cos I think you already saw it here. In full concert, Jewel made laugth about a journalist at southampton interview. That was really funny cos I know this woman and also talked with her and she gave me her coordinates in southampton. When the concert finished, I ran to the artist door, to see Jewel the last time, but she did not seem to get out, then michiel, Roel, the girl and Chris were there too and few minutes after, were were about 100 people waiting. After waiting a long time, I decided to check the coachs but they were not moving too. And then, we learned that Jewel and the band were giving a party inside. Looking the 100 people waiting for Jewel, I realized that she would only sign few autograph and escape from this crowd and I decided with the 3 Dutch EDAs to search her hotel, wich was really near. And We earched for a "Master Hotel" or something like that. (Like a journalist told them she was at) We found a Millestones hotel, and then the girl entered, asking for Jewel / Steve on the records but they told that they were not there, or with a false name. After waiting few minutes, we decided to go back to the hall, and they we saw that they were still waiting. So we decided to leave, and took the tube cos we could have to wait for nothing. I really enjoyed those 2 days, especially with my EDA friends. Francois. I will go ahead where i stayed...Jewel sang in Belfast the lovely words of Hands 'If i can tell the world one thing , than it is that we are not okay!!! than she started to laugh, and realized that she couldn't mess up the song and kept to the original lines...this was really cool!! Jewel as also so amzingly on the stage, having fun with the full band!! Doug, Steve, Tony , Steve and the drumplayer are really so much fun to watch! They really have this cool natural way of playing with eachoter.... Her voice is so much beautiful ...i can hardly believe my eyes!! She is really entertaining the crowd, she sangs accoustically, sings songs with the band, dances on the stage ! It's really one excellent show that makes every one spontaneous and happy after the concerts. Jewel seems to enjoy the crowd. At the venues you notice that for example in Belfast the audience was a little bit older , but once i was in Dublin last sunday the crowd was so much younger....it was so awesome ..... the song What simple is ture is so cool.......i really am blown away with her voice and how she copes with the crowd so well at the concerts...her voice can go from high to low without any problem... i am really astonished how well the concerts are......it's really a pleasure to make this trips./... it makes you realize how cool it is to go the concerts of the Jewel world tour..i will strongly advise everybody to see her whenever and wherever you can........she is worth every penny....and Steve Poltz finally gets the recognizition he deserves....he is such a good chap and friend who can talk to him.....It's of course a little bit harder nowadays to talk to Jewel personally...I don't blame her for it, i can fully agree with her....She has so much media -attention nowadays that she sometimes really not like the people asking her things....although i would really appreciate it if can take one photo with Jewel just to remember that i have been to her concerts.... In the end only kindness matters.......The song Hands is so touchy.......this was the first song i heard of her new album and i was really struck by the lyrics and watching Jewel singing this live is even more beautiful....because Jewel really accentuates the words and lines of the song......it makes you full of joy!! i tried to listen to every song very carefull.....and it so cool to listen to the lovely details at the concerts in comparisation to the recording from Spirit in the studio... Even when she played her first concert in Europe you could notice that the sound of Jewel is so pure, so unbelievable...Wondering wondering i could spent my life travelling my life spending the body....this is a line from Jewel's song Jupiter where she always add the swallow, swallow swallow the moon part.... I never had even heard Jewel tell the whole Mexico story with Steve....she is really entertaining the crowd about how strange it was in Roseries Delux ort....she tells that she and steve got breaking into a cabin...it was so easy according to steve that it was not breaking in...She tells about the police walking in the town and if they could help ......there was the word Policia....wow Jewel really got the crowd laughin and enjoying themselves....Especially when she also gives the mimic with her words so you really think you have a very very good night at the concerts....she was so cute....and at one point she tells chicks don't like bullet hole scarves.......so this makes every one very enjoying...and than she starts to sing her song You were meant for me. It really makes the song rolling even more .....although this song is very very beautiful accoustically too... This story is the longest chat she ever done in the european concerts before singing the YWMFM song..it's really one beautiful story....in the belfast song she really encourages the word smile in your face....wow she is every Jewelfan could hope for before going to any of her concert!!!! And than the first set is really over..... Than she finishes her first part of the song and starts to play her beautiful accoustic songs.....they differ at every set...in Belfast i was lucky to hear her sing the song Innocence maintained....she told us the funny story about a swiss journalist asking her that the song has some strange lines......at one time you tell the people : ' hitler loves blue eyed boys...and than you continue with the words what nature can't bend.......this is so strange combination....Jewel had to laugh and she began to play the song......The song is so beautiful accoustically....it really makes me cry actually... the words are so sensitive in this song, that makes you so touched...Ophelia drowns in the water.........oh gush still the water is falling from my face..so touched i was. Wow wow wow......it so hard to review concerts ....because they are always so different...be careful with eachother....these fragile flames.....it needs to be maintained.....he hey hey....this words expression really makes you think about the world....than she starts to introduce the next song asking is there anything we wanted to hear......she tells me if we yell all at one time it would help her!!!! do you feel the comment!!!! Than she played the song SIBTW...she tells the audience you should hate me but i forgot the lines of the little sister and painters......but honestly Sometimes it be that way still remains one of her uptempo songs that really enjoyes everyone...and than what could we asked more she played the song Don't......to hear it play and the whole audience is quiet makes it so much impact on everybody!! A really fantastic song to listen to and her the words and the lyrics..... The band is again entering the stage and she start to sing Barcelona....the lightning effects are really beautiful....and than this song is so lovely to watch because you can see Jewel in the limelight of all the attention!!!! Love..........Love......Let me fly.............That we fly..........Superb paranoid.....i am bleeding.....into the scenery....love is liking someone else .....wow the words really are strucking me.... A life Uncomonnon.....................the best song of the album according to myself!!! When Jewel sings this song with so much energy and dedication than you can know that she is a courage girl because she onces told she wrote the song because she lost a good friend because of a fatal disease....the whole band and Jewel sing this song and everybody in the crowd just listen...!!!! just silence and the wonderful voice of Jewel and the harmony vocals of Steve Georgia what makes it so much beautiful!! The words in this song reminds you of being at the Jewelconcerts!!!!!!!!!!! i am really pleased to tell you all fans how the songs fit the scene... Just watch Jewel sing the song with so much energy give you the fullfillment the human being needs!!!!! She is still so pure, so wonderful......i can't hardly describe my feelings for this woman!!! Foolish games is than the following song.........than she is walking on the stage and telling this love story about Mozart and the song is so cool being played by Steve Georgia on the keyboard!! He is really a very friendly chap too!!! Stood in my window....nothing to say....beside some comment on the weahter....in case you feel to notice...in case you fail to see...this is my heart bleeding for you...i am falling on my knees...this foolish games are tearing me apart......!!!! And you faitless ....are breaking my heart....wow the lyrics are really beautiful....you are breaking my heart...... And that is time for the rocky rocky rocky Down so long song!!!!! It has the beautiful voice of Jewel and the perfect enthusiastic band play....and the whole venue is rocking..... Soon here after she tells the crowd she is working at some new songs and she invites everyone to the stage..that 's really cool part !!! Just enjoy and think about Jewel on the stage....it is also very cool that they than play the songs Down, Love me just leave me alone and than she finishes with the song WWSYS.......wow this song is so nice....Jewel added some nice things to the song to make the crowd really going crazy for her and the band....she starts to sing about the kitty who wants to drink some milk, the kitty wants some sleep...the kitty want something to eat......wow such an improvisation is really too awesome and than Jewel returns to the scene after a minute to sing the absence of fear in belfast again accompanied by Steve Georgia..... Than she starts to sing her favorite lullaby Angel standing by and than she and steve start to sing a local song Kilkanny mann....and the crowd is really going crazy.....Steve Poltz really sings so much nice words and Jewel sings harmony with it....and than this Belfast show ends with the Song Chime bells what she promised to Steve not to sing, but just to tease Steve she sang it and than wished us all a good night.....wow this concert was really cool.... Soon thereafter i met mr Lee Greene again and we talked a little bit and i asked him friendly how i appreciated that he was recording the Jewelconcert for the later to be released funny home video... I stop now....but i will come back to you a lot of more times .....i have to tell you so much things..
