But Hands reached the NUMBER ONE position. Isn't it great. But as of now, I haven't seen the DSL video in MTV Asia. Bye. It would of have to have been the most in depth tv apperance i have ever seen on Steve, they talked about his past, and what he use to do, like being an alter boy and selling plumbing equipment. Also he played his star wars song, which he really likes, as he said it himself. He made every one do chew bucca noises and stuff like that. Also they played a video clip of his single Silver lining, which was quite interesting to say the least. All in all it was a great interview, but its a shame it wasnt on a more wathced station and show. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Apr 1999 22:31:21 EDT From: ABershaw@aol.com Subject: MrBB-Jewel & Poltz's 1999 Tour Setlists Hi all, You tape traders & collectors will like this, I hope. :-) "So Close To Heaven", "Anything Goes", "Happy Endings", Don't Wanna Be Loved By Anybody But You". These are some of the songs that surfaced for the first time during Jewel's current 1999 tour sets. "26", "Star Wars", "Paint The Town", "Ten Chances". These are some of the new songs that surfaced during Steve Poltz's set's in Australia. What shows were they on? Where can you get COMPLETE & ACCURATE setlists of the shows on Jewel's 1999 Spirit Tour? Good question! For all you folks curious about the recent setlists in Australia, we now have ALL (but one, which is going up tonight, I think) of the Australian setlists up as our newest feature on Jewel's website. Go to www.jeweljk.com & take the "presence" link to the calendar. You'll see the setlist link there now. (The highend version is up. The low end version is being worked on now & should be up tonight.) All the Aussie shows now have complete accurate setlists available. Since I'm personally into it, I included all of Steve Poltz's accurate setlists as well. (Can a Ruglist subscriber let them know of this resource, too?) I welcome any Aussie fans to send me reviews for the setlists without them. I'd like to include knowledgable fan reviews on all shows if you'll write them. I'll have all the remaining 99 Tour setlists up soon. So enjoy these & New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore & Japan will be up soon. We'll continue this feature through the entire tour. :-) And yes, Poltz is the support act through the Europe Tour (all those dates are up on the website) & the summer North American Tour. Have a great weekend, Alan ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Apr 1999 23:39:56 EDT From: Harrisbros@aol.com Subject: Acts of Kindness Scrapbook UPDATE! So far, we've had 53 EDAs join the "Acts of Everyday Kindness" Scrapbook Project. All KNOWN participants have already been contacted. If you are an EDA who tried to join but did NOT get a post with the subject "1ST CONFIRMATION of "Acts of ED Kindess" participation..." -- you should email me again! For anyone else who wants to participate, just email me at HarrisBros@aol.com and I'll put you on the list. By Monday, scrapbook details will be worked out, and further instructions will be sent to participants. This project involves committing acts of everyday kindness (both large and small), and letting us know so we can share them with the list and Jewel in the form of a scrapbook that will be given to Jewel this summer. The timing coincides with her birthday, so it also serves as a "birthday gift" to show we truly listen and understand some of Jewel's spiritual ideas and philosophies. It would be nice if at least 10% (that's only one out of ten) of the list subscribers here chose to do something unselfish for others AND weren't shy about admitting it! That goal is about three times the number of participating EDAs we currently have. ;-) C'mon angels, you may have gotten the CD called "Spirit", but did you get the spirit of the CD itself?
