I'm on holidays at the moment and haven't checked my e-mails for one week - 188 new messages today! Anyway, I didn't plan to whinge. My main purpose for this e-mail is to ask if there are any EdA's going to see Steve Poltz at Saratoga on Tues. 13th April( in Sth Melbourne, Australia - for any overseas angels who were getting excited )? Tickets are $17.20 for concession or $22.20 for adults ( I think ). You can order them through Ticketek. Doors open at 8pm. Anyway, I'd love to meet anyone who is going. I may not be able to reply and organise a place to meet or anything b/c my internet access is very limited at the moment(I'm at the public library today). But please do reply just in case! Otherwise I will be wearing a blue ribbon in my hair or pinned to my top. I don't have a car nor would I be driving anyway, hence not putting the ribbon on my antenna. I'm going to see Jewel on May 5th in London and was wondering if any other fans from the list are going and wanted to meet? Unfortunately I can't subscribe to this version of the mailing list at the moment to read any replies, so if anyone who's interested in meeting at the venue could email me privately i would appreciate it so much :) Thank you! It seems spring is finally here and, as promised, there are lots of EDAF events planned. Foundation events are great because not only do you get to meet and hang out with other EDAs, but you get to do something really great for your community at the same time. So, here's a recap of events planned for the next month. *** April 18, Jersey City, NJ: The MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Walk covers 6.2 miles along the Hudson River. Please e-mail Amy at w1ggy2@aol.com if you'd like to join or support Team EDAF. So far, we've raised almost $400, but we know we can do better! If you'd like to walk with us, we'd love your company. :-) *** May 1, Corpus Christi, TX: A second Team EDAF has registered for the MS Walk in the Lone Star state. If you'd like to join Lesley and her friends, please e-mail her at DKookyBaka@aol.com. Any bets on which Team EDAF can raise the most money for this great cause? :-) *** April 24, South Amboy, NJ: OPERATION CLEAN BEACH sweeps through the EveryDay Angels' very own adopted shoreline. The weather should be gorgeous and where would you rather spend a beautiful Saturday than on the beach with friends? This will be a full weekend of fun as the CAMPBELL INN is open for business and will be overrun with EDA's. Rob and Tammy are great EDA hosts and lots of fun is always had by all. There are plans for other weekend activities, including a new EDA sport (no, not BASEketball!), so don't miss this one! We expect to see some of you Australian EDAs there as well! ;-) OK, maybe not, but we suspect you guys have a few beaches that might need a little TLC... *** We've had great response to our recent posts about opening membership and the EDA guitar picks that are now available! If you need any further info or would like to contact the EDAF, please write us at EDAFinfo@aol.com. Take care of yourselves and your world!
