My girlfriend is in a voice class and wants to sing it (although the idea frightens me, I have been smart enough not to discourage her). I don't need tablurature, but rather REAL sheet music, perhaps even with piano accompanyment. If anyone can send it to me privately that would be great, or if you could tell me where to buy it that would be cool too. Josh posted: >.......Jewel tonight on Leno? It is shown >as a rerun Mr.BB said It will be live if I remember. Thanks. - I posted that its NOT live. Not sure which rerun it is, but most likely its the "Hands" performance from November 19th last year. jennie a suggested: >i like the idea of having jewel shirts. we wouldn't have to make it a big >list project or anything, but maybe we could hold a vote to decide which >picture we all like the best and then whoever wanted to could make their >own shirt with that picture and their own angel name on it. that way, >we'd be more recognizable at the concerts! what do you guys think? EDA t-shirts have been done before several times & I totally understand the good intentions behind designing another one. However, like all others before you, please be respectful on the issue of "using a favorite Jewel picture" on any list t-shirt. You cannot sell or distribute a t-shirt (even for non-profit) with a persons image on it without that persons specific legal consent. My suggestion is to be a bit more creative & design something nice that is EDA related instead. You may want to contact long lost listmember Phil whose previous EDA T-shirt was the one & only authorized Jewel image to be used on EDA t-shirts. If he grants permission to use his design, that could work. (I haven't got his address, but perhaps someone is still in touch with him?) Otherwise, an "EDA 1999" design is advisable rather than using Jewel's image on list t-shirts. And of course theres a large selection of official Jewel t-shirts at the Jewel Store on the website. The taping is on Feb 7. We do not know when they choose to air every international program, so if the transmission date is not on the website, please help each other (& me) by posting additional info as Marcus did. Well, as some on the list know, making a t-shirt can be expensive and time consuming. There is a way to pass that, the net. There are internet sites that do create shirts which you can order online. I dont have any sites off hand but i've heard they're pretty reliable. Also, I have an EDA pick from Mr. Montana which has a very nice angel on it. I personally think that an Angel would be a good way to go on a shirt. Have a great weekend Angels! "Scott S." -Big Sexy Angel "WE HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE THE WORLD A GREAT PLACE! SO WHY NOT USE IT?"
