First a look in the charts: Spirit climbed 10 places to 59 this week in the german charts. And about the Christmas thing in Rome, two german TV stations show something from Rome, on the 24th at 23.55 (WDR and B3 I think, or some other 3rd program). This seems to be the same thing like on RAI UNO, at least it starts at the same time. I'm not sure, if this includes the concert, but it was the only broadcast from Rome I could find.... Subject: What are the odds? A rare phenomenon occurred this morning on public television. At the same exact time, Jewel was on 2 different channels! wow! I knew she was talented but.... ok, so maybe one of them (or both) were recorded, but it was sitll cool to see. My only regret is that I don't have 2 VCR's, so I only got one segement on tape, and about the last minute or so of the other one. She had a nice interview and sang Hand's on CBS This Morning, and on Regis and Kathie Lee, she sang Rudolph with her mom, then Lenedra sang one line from "Little Bird", *that* was cool to see...and that's the part I got on tape. Jewel looked nice in both segments. I only wish I had gotten both full segments recorded. I guess this about wraps up her "Hands" tour...I mean, the media promotion of her new CD...at least for the first single. Other than maybe doing the Charlie Rose show next month, if that happens. So Jewel did what few others have done before on television...performed on 2 channels at the same time. Her talents are endless! ha ha. Here is their reply ... :-(( The performance recorded in Vatican City few days ago will be broadcast by Canale 5 and not by Rai. Raiuno will broadcast a special performance directed by Salvatore Accardo on the 21st at 22,45 (Italian time) and on the 24th from Assisi, 22,15 (Italian time), a concert directed by Shlomo Mintz.
