I wasn't suprised that it was signed in pencil, but I was suprised that it was numbered out of 1000. When I ordered mine, the web site advertised it as limited to 500 prints, as did the J-Merch catalog. Doubling the number on a limited edition print without first notifying buyers is uncool. J-Merch got a piece of my mind about that. Take Care and Happy Holidays, Heath FallinPixi@aol.com wrote: > > About the limited addition artwork. . .that is signed by Jewel does anyone > have it? I made a Windows 95/98 Background for people with "Active Desktop" Don't know what Active Desktop is? More information on it can be found out at Microsoft's website ( http://www.microsoft.com ). It's really cool, and I highly recommend it. :) Anywhoo, my wallpaper features a Java "Lake" applet (Come on, we've all seen 'em!) on the left. The pictures that are reflected are (your choice of) two pictures of Jewel riding her horse. On the right side, I have the poem "Wild Horses" :) Download it at: http://www.crosswinds.net/virginia-beach/~vansciver/jewel/laketop.zip Visit my website, "Barcelona", too! :) http://www.crosswinds.net/virginia-beach/~vansciver/jewel/ Need help? E-Mail me back. :) (eh...I'll keep on:) With Christmas break here, and exams gone, I'll work on making a full Windows 95 Theme (probably dealing with "Spirit") So far, I have two animated cursors...hmm...3%complete ;) And just cause I'm feeling generous, my ICQ # is 3344290 :) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 19 Dec 1998 01:17:49 PST From: "Jessica Maki" Subject: NJC: acoustic guitars My Fellow EDAs-- I have just been sitting back and watching the threads the last week or so, but the time has come for me that I have a strong urge to post again, so here you have it, yet another post by me. I asked Santa (heh) for an acoustic guitar for Christmas, and I was just kind of curious what brands were good for super beginners like myself. Mom asked me if there was any way I would be able to find out what would be a good brand for her to buy me, and then the little light bulb in my head immeadiately switched on-- "how about I ask one of the other EDAs?", I told myself. Thus, here I am, making this post. So if you have a relatively good knowledge of acoustic guitars, mail me privately on what ones you would reccomend for me, thanks a super bunch ya guys. :) - --Sonora, The Mischevious, Yet Sensitive, Tom-Boyish, in-love Angel ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 19 Dec 1998 12:36:12 -0500 From: "Deirdre C. Pietro SANTA MESSA DI NATALE 23:55 Celebrata da Sua Santità Giovanni Paolo II My italian is not very good (:-)) but I could translate it so I think you will be able also. Mondovisione stands for Worldwide-broadcast. And the St. Petrus Basilic (sort of cathedral) is situated at Vatican City. So I couldn't be wrong right :-)) This is the announcement of RAIUNO and my source is RAIUNO's www. look at : http://www.raiuno.rai.it/raiuno/sette/index2.htm Surf to "Giovedi-24" (24 Dec.) and scroll till 23:55 If you have the possibility to record it on RAIUNO I recommend to do that instead of your local tv-station. RAIUNO won't use subtitles and is always in full HiFi-stereo. Also there are NONE commercial breaks in the broadcasts. (Yes even in Hooland we are jalous about that but you american angels must get crazy of all those commercials in the middle of shows :-)) Soccer matches are scrambled sometimes but I can't imagine that they will scramble such important celebration for the world. I will search for more TV-stations who are going to buy and broadcast the show and tell you later about it. Stay tuned! Greetings, Marcel. So I couldn't be wrong >right :-)) The translation is indeed correct, but I doubt that that one is the show were Jewel performed since that 'shw is the midnight Xmas mass... which is broadcast live from Rome... If you take a closer look to the RaiUNO programs grid, you'll find a bit earlier (22.15 if I remember correctly) a concert which had been recorded, but no mention of Jewel in that concert... I checked all the TV programs of all the TV channels we can get here in Belgium (meaning a lot), and I couldn't find anything regarding that Jewel broadcast... Maybe it will be shown on a private italian network (Canale Cinque for example)... Are there some Italian EDAs who could help us to figure out? >Also there are NONE commercial breaks in the broadcasts. (Yes even in >Hooland we are jalous about that but you american angels must get crazy of >all those commercials in the middle of shows :-)) Well, I lived a while in San Diego, and I quickly got used to the commercial pauses during shows, sports, movies etc... You just need to learn to keep busy while those breaks, and Americans can make some good ads, you know ;-) Nicolas Bledina(ngel) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 19 Dec 1998 20:26:00 EST From: STAC5984@aol.com Subject: Roseanne Show Did anyone tape the Roseanne show.
