It puts it into c:\windows\system it needs to be in c:\windows to work correctly. Not that the screen saver is very impressive, it only has like 4 pics of Jewel, but thats how to make it work. Subject: RE: Just wondering (SJC) Usually you find it (STL) in a used bin somewhere. You just have to look and look and look. And every once in a blue moon a place on the internet will have it, but they'll charge you an arm and a leg. Another much sought after rarity is "Phyllis Barnabee Finally Gets A Bra". This is a 4-track promo including YWMFM, Emily, Cold Song, and Rocker Girl, if I'm not mistaken. That one and STL are the big ones. >From: Rachel [mailto:musserr@hartwick.edu] >Subject: Just wondering (SJC) > "Save The Linoleum (STL) is an early promotional release by Jewel. > It's very rare. I'm working on it. I have no idea how much of the show taped. I do have a large part of it, but I may be missing some. For certain, I have the begenning and the end, but a small piece may be missing from this hour-long interview. I am hoping to post the transcript by Monday, though I would not be surprised if I could make it sooner. 2) TRADE? Yup. I will trade. The people that have emailed me so far have the biggest chances yet, but if you want the show really badly, and since I am limiting the number of tapes I put out, because I don't have time, if you trade me this interview for a VHS copy of Jewel Unplugged, and you are the first person, I guarnantee the interview to you, which I will send along with a copy of the transcript. I would like to get an idea of how many people want this show, those who emailed me so far, don't need to email me again, but the people who haven't email me at: bpodeszw@stu.blanchet.k12.wa.us I will try to do as many shows as I can so its worth the time to email. Besides I have been in a postion like some of you Washington ppl. where the recorder broke, or you didn't set it right, and you didn't get the show, so I have mercy! (and my conscience bothers me :-) E-me Jewel's Angel bpodeszw@stu.blanchet.k12.wa.us ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 23 Nov 1998 22:25:08 -0600 (CST) From: Jay Christoph Johnson Subject: Re: STUPID ROLLING STONE!!! ...but, of course they are going to put her on the cover of their year-end issue, if I'm not mistaken. So, I wouldn't let yourself get too upset about a bad review. I don't know about any one else, but I never pay any attention to reviews, be they good or bad, because music (and all art for that matter) depends immensely on a person's personal tastes, which no critic can account for. just my thoughts.
