Hey, has anyone else noticed at the end of the lyrics for "Down So Long" it says "Bridge Repeat/Scat Section"... but in the actual song she neither repeats the bridge nor does any scatting which would suggest she was originally going to but the idea got scrapped... so I guess that little scatting bit at the start (i.e. "Boop-boop-be-do, yeah") is all that got left of that idea when it was abandoned... :-) Kim Lees Your New Zealand Angel Standing By ICQ# 9270797 - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ check out Kim's JEWEL Shrine... http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Stadium/7485/jewel.html includes a Real Audio section of over 100 songs... and growing :-) - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Five years worth of kisses are packed in your bags In this tiny moment fits all the big things we never had And I can't quite pinpoint when it left or what for Love always steps lightly away from the door" Jewel Kilcher - "Studies In Love #12" ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 20 Nov 1998 19:20:32 PST From: "Scott Evans" Subject: Questions A few months ago, I read on the list that Jewel wasn't considering Spirit as her second album...Is this still true? Is she still planning on releasing a third album in mid-1999? Since she added some old songs to Spirit, I'm hoping the 3rd album will have some of our favorites on it...at least SIBTW....What does everyone else think about this? Should the post be posted before MRBB's computer getrs fixed? Am I asking to many questions? You know what they say, "Sometimes It Be That Way"... Jewel is described as satan, all the way through the article. EDA's get a mention too, as jewels "fan cult". and the spookiest part is that, um, I have read this sort of review before (in, gosh, it had jewel and jakob dylan on the cover, in august 97.. with a picture of jewel as christ inside). But the voice article was truly something else! meg ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 20 Nov 1998 22:21:40 EST From: Freakbus6@aol.com Subject: Re: loveline In a message dated 11/21/98 1:59:40 AM, cmgordon2@juno.com wrote: <> I'm a long time Loveline listener, I have been listening since I was 9 i think, I pretty much grew up with them, and Dr. Drew is like a dad to me. She said things that were so spiritual, and so humain, and when she sang "Fat Boy" I think Adam and Drew were ready to weap, she was probly their best guest ever. People who write about Jewel in artical always say thing like "She doesn't know anything about real peoples problems" didn't have a clue because she gave some great advise that night, and she knew what she was talking aobut. ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V3 #643 ***************************
