Whoah! You won't believe what I saw! They just showed a commercial for Jewel, and said order her new album Spirit today and receive for free the music video for her new smash hit single, Hands. Then they showed Jewel singing Hands in what looked like a music video, but it wasn't the same as the VH1/MTV version. Weird! Anyhoo, the number they gave was: 1-800-NBC-8497 The commercial played right before Friends came on. Thought you might be interested!! I'm relatively new to the EDA's due to the lack of a computer. But, I have been a die hard Jewel fan since I heard the first cord of Who will save your soul. I absolutely love Spirit! It is so beautiful and inspirational. I'm listening to Down So Long, at the moment. One of my favorites. Anyway, I've been reading all of the post and just have a quick thing to say about them. I'm reading a lot about how a lot of you guys and gals feel Jewel is changing and how you don't like it. Well, you need to realize she was 19 when POY was released and she is now 24. She has obviously matured and grown up, we all need to except it. I don't see anything wrong with her or her appearance. She has continued to perform amazingly and inspire me and a lot of you out there. When most of us heard Jewel for the first time it was over the radio, we had no idea what she looked like and only focused on her music. We need to start doing this again. Okay enough about that. Jewel was great on Rosie. She was a riot! I personally like how she told us her brothers sing "who will shave your mole" instead of who will save your soul. Very witty. How cute. Listen to yourselves I think some of you need to take a step back and think things through. All of you going on about Jewel like "I don't like her voice when she does this" "She's selling out" "she's slutty" "I love Jewel cause she's got nice breasts" Well i'm tired of it all. I love Jewel as a person. Her talent, her personality, her sense of humor and for her voice (No matter what she does with it). Some of you saying you don't like her songs for what she's done to them. Personally i love all Jewel Songs. Sure some of them more than others, but all of them. I don't whine saying i don't like this song cos its different or cos she makes her voice go funny. I love all the songs for there words, not just her voice or what else she's done to it. Just appreciate Her for herself. She's an incredible woman who has inspired me to do alot.
