(no, I'm not accusing anyone of saying she has sold out.) SELLING OUT: Endorsing a bunch of cheesy stuff only in an attempt to make money. (i.e. lunch boxes, blankets, dolls, etc...etc...) PROMOTING: Trying to expose more people to your talent, through more of what you were doing in the first place (i.e. MORE radio play, MORE seeing/hearing it on t.v. and radio). Okay, this part has to do with everyone saying "Go here and vote for Jewel! Go there and vote for Jewel! Gung ho Jewel rules earth!" pretty much. If someone goes to one of these places and sees an artist they could vote for, then this constitutes a problem. Like, maybe they totally love Jewel, but Sarah McLaghlan's music has helped them through something horrible.....see where I'm going with this? All I'm saying is it should be more like "Go here and you can check out the nominees (or whatever) and vote for who you want" I'm not saying Jewel doesn't deserve/need any awards or anything, I'm just saying that maybe Jewel isn't the center of every EDA's universe. (if this upsets anyone please don't respond in a post! I don't want other people to have to read someone else's flame because of me....) Hi Angels- I'ts been forever since I've posted(feeling really guilty for that). Anyways, I totally worship Jewel and Dawson's Creek and I thought Hands was so appropriate. I cried! It was just really emotional and made the scenes that much more heartfelt and dramatic. I don't think there's any other song that would have fit better. I could really feel the character's pain even though they weren't saying a word. Jewel ruled!!!!!! Anyone else fall in love with it???
