I have compiled a list of additions that MrBB omitted: On the new album: Jewel has changed her name to the unpronounceable symbol 'J*!' The title has been changed (again) to _Ask Me To Yodel_. Not only has multimedia content been cancelled, but the album will only be released on 8 track. The tracklist will consist entirely of Jewel singing covers of New Kids on the Block songs. Jewel has re-formed her Jr. High rap band L'Creme and gets jiggy with it on "Hands". Jewel duets with Fabrice (from Milli Vanilli) on "Chime Bells". Instead of 'Christmas Theme' album, the theme will be "Columbus Day". I'll keep you posted if any more news develops. "Inside my heart There's an empty room It's waiting for lightning It's waiting for you" - "Absence Of Fear" "My heart has four empty rooms Three wait for lightning And one waits for you" - "Enter From The East" ...unless she's changed some of the lyrics I can see the critics are gonna have a field day if they manage to spot both of these lyric double-ups... Does that mean there aren't any questions to be answered? Just a recap of what this whole help center is. The "center" has been open for about a month now. Its where if you have a question about being an EDA that IS NOT on Mike's helpful site(www.spectra.net/~ducksoup/) then go ahead and send an E-mail to us(the volunteers) and we'll answer your question to the best of our ability. PLEASE DON'T send us questions about Jewel's next album. We'll get that information when it hits the list. Not to sound grouchy or anything. :-) EdaCenter@Hotmail.com My take on this next album and all the commotion is...let it come out first, then speak your peace. Please don't waste typing time just to speculate about what might happen. Let the magazine and newspaper writers do that. :D For example, I just recently bought the latest Hootie album(I admit it! Darius Rucker is one of my inspirations!) and it sounds a bit like elevator music with a rock twist. Overall, I'd give it a B+ cause its a nice turn for 'em compared to their last albums. Some people speculated that it would just drop like a rock. Others though that it would be the best so far. Wherever I'm going with this, I don't know. My point is be excited that Jewel is coming out with(finally!) an album and don't get all antcee that it might or might not live up to your expectations. For all I know, its going to be pretty much new material and as long as I'm able to hit the repeat button more than once I'll be satisfied with her work. Hey, maybe Jewel will stop by somewhere in O.C. on her impending tour! :D Kudos to soapboxing! My life's going crazy, but I'm just fine. I'm planning to go to Java Joes for the first time on the 24th if theres something worth going to see. If any EDA's in the area know about something interesting going on, or would be willing to take an east coast EDA under your wing, please email me at morse@vnet.net and let me know. I keep getting these horrid thoughts of the movie "Judgment Night" when I think of driving in LA. :) Thanks.
