Once again several changes have happened over the past 48 hours. First, the title of Jewel's new album is once again "SPIRIT". It became "HANDS" for a few days, but "SPIRIT" is again the official title now (with no more changes expected). Also, unfortunately, the plan to include multimedia content has been cancelled & "SPIRIT" will not be an enhanced CD. Sorry to disappoint you all on that, but the music will more than make up for this minor disappointment, I assure you! :-) Now onto what everyone REALLY wants to know--- Tonight, the finalized tracklist of "SPIRIT" will be officially unveiled! BiBi will put the finalized tracklist up on the website sometime today & you can see this info by tonight sometime. I have a few points to make in this letter One is that I have read everyone's diffrent view's and opinions concerning the title of Jewel's new CD . Please people . You must realize that Jewel is an artist and whatever " Word " SHE chooses to use to describe her "work of art" is indeed the word that must be used . She created this CD . Whichever title she uses has meaning to her . Quite frankly it is not our place to critcize one way or another . We should respect what she chooses . For it is HER choice and no one else's . She has every right as an artist to be respected . If she chose the title " Dog crap " we should still respect that choice. We may not know the reason for it , but perhaps it is not our place to know . Maybe , only those who take time to think it through should know . It is quite possible that these may be the poeple she is truly trying to reach . Hopefully , this will end the debate over the titles .
