There's a movie about the couple and Miller's wife - somehow they had a menage a trois. The movie's called Henry & June and it stars Uma Thurman. Haven't watched it myself yet. Does anyone feel like making me a VHS copy of Jewel's recent appearance on OPRAH and MTV? At my place in Greenfield IN on Friday, August 28, 1998 there will be a small concert on the 1998 Living Room Tour, featuring the amazing Joy Eden Harrison and Lisa Sanders. As you may know (if you've read Alan's posts and some others) these ladies, acquaintances of our own Miss Kilcher, are following in the tradition of playing small, intimate concerts at the houses of fans in various parts of the country. Last year's tour, featuring Cindy Lee Berryhill and Elizabeth Hummel (two San Diego-based friends of Jewel), was fantastic -- and garnered great reviews from EDAs, attendees and the musicians as well. This year, you'll get a slightly different focus, but I firmly believe that if you like Jewel's music and philosophies, you'll enjoy Joy and Lisa's evening of music as well! It's a $10 donation to pay expenses for the traveling musicians -- no profit for me -- and I would ask that you RSVP if you're coming. I'd like to get 20 people here, but 30 might be a bit crowded. We'll have limited crash space, or I can tell you about a half dozen decent motels within a mile of here. I plan to have snacks and beverages, but feel free to bring your own pitch-in goodies; we had some yummy contributions last year, which was a delightful surprise. If you need directions, let me know when you RSVP and I'll give you detailed instructions (briefly, we live right at Exit 104, Interstate 70 (15 mi. east of Indianapolis).
