I know that very few copies of Jewel's CD sold (an understatement) the first week "Pieces Of You" was out in Feb. of 1995, but was I just wondering if/how many people here on the list actually bought "Pieces Of You" the first DAY/WEEK of its release. I did, and I was wondering 'bout everyone/anyone else. Thanks and love to everyone, Nik - an Aspiring Angel ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 9 Aug 1998 11:30:36 +0100 From: "Nosh" Subject: POY track listings and MS Plus!98 As some of you may or may not know, the plus pack in windows 98 contains a new CD player that will go and find track listings for your CDs on the internet rather than you typing them all out. When it got a listing for my copy of POY (later UK edition with 15 tracks) I got this from tunes.com: Who Will Save Your Soul Pieces of You Little Sister Foolish Games Near You Always Painters Morning Song Adrian I'm Sensitive You Were Meant For Me Don't Daddy Angel Standing By Pick Myself Up Track 15 The last two tracks are incorrect. I tried the other online database (Music Boulevard) and got this: Who Will Save your Soul Who Will Save Your Soul Pieces Of You Little Sister Foolish Games Near You Always Painters Morning Song Adrian I'm Sensitive You Were Meant For Me Don't Daddy Angel Standing By Amen This would be correct except for the double WWSYS entry which means the Batman edit of FG is left out (track 15). After all this, what I am trying to ascertain is has anyone managed to get the POY track listing to work? Any help would me appreciated. I just checked out the New York Times Best Seller List for Hard Cover and A Night Without Armor is #7 on the Fiction List. I thought that it was autobiographical, but it doesn't matter. As long as it's on the list. Jewel spent her birthday sick in some hotel room. She did bounce back & some great shows followed. The 5/27/97 Hamburg show was edited & that edited tape broadcast in Germany on ndr2 FM. 5/28 was also cancelled in London. And although not on your list, 5/2 in London & 5/4 in Dublin were also cancelled earlier in the tour. Not a healthy time or a happy tour. Thats also when not many knew of Jewel in Europe. Many of the shows she did do had less than 100 people attending, some as few as 25. MrBB ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V3 #430 ***************************
