I'm kind of new to this and I wanted to know if anybody had some great jewel chats that I can look up. I've looked for the longest time and I still can't find anythiing. Plus, does any angel now where I can get Save the Linoleum which is by Jewel. Everytime I call a music store they're always telling me, "Sorry son, but Jewel Kilcher hasn't came out with a new cd." I kept trying to tell the guy that, I know she hasn't came out with a new cd, and that Save the Linoleum was one of her older cd's released as a promo when she was younger. The guy still didn't understand what I was talking about! It was getting on my nerves after awhile. I got the same response at every other music store that I found. After I tried almost every store that I knew, I thoght about this mail list. I thoght that I might get some answers here. So, if anyone of you could ever be so greatful by e-mailng me I would be ever so thankful. More specifically I was >wondering if the number of votes recieved by each question will be let >known to Jewel. The actual "number of votes info" was not included but I did give them to Jewel in top 20 order from #1 to #20. She'll be selecting 10 (or more) of her choosing to answer. MrBB PS. Also, regarding the two questions that were edited. We did this in an effort to clarify the question for Jewel. We think it gives them a much better chance of being chosen. David was happy with his Interlochen question changes. Sean agreed about his changes plus made a good point about including one more sentence, which I've done & resubmitted. Sean's question now reads as follows. #12 - Sean35RL@aol.com You have commented often in songs like Deep Water, most notably, on how we should strive to achieve and never give up our hopes and dreams, to never settle or compromise. In your climb to success, by refusing to give up your hopes and dreams you are standing proud in the face of a society that strikes down so many who try. However, on the other hand, I am wondering if there are any compromises, sacrifices, or concessions that you now regret making. And do you feel that you would have achieved the position your art has procured for you today if you were not physically attractive, if you were more average looking, if you were perhaps even unattractive or ugly? Be well, Sean Hooks ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V3 #361 ***************************
