Her show was about young kids who have a singing talent. There was this ten year old girl on there who sang WWSYS. That would be interesting enough, but the girl didn't even sing the correct words. It was really hard to understand what she said in the beging, she mumbled. ( YOu know the first few lines that no one understands.) Then later in the show the line that says " So we pray to as many different Gods as there are flowers." She said somehing like " So we pray top many diffeerent Gods and we pick the flowers." I think this is a major injustice to Jewel's wonderful music. Especially since the girl said she was a Jewel fan. I just thought others might enjoy this little story. All right! A month er so after my first posting of Angel Standing By, I have the completed version now! :) (meaning this version includes vocals) The URL for ASB is http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Stadium/4546/asb.mid Also, I still need feedback on the Cold Song...It's messed up, I know, but I'm not sure which Tempo I should use, or if I need to double each measure, or what...anyway, the Cold Song (guitar only) can be found at http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Stadium/4546/cold.mid Don't Forget Amen! :) Amen can be found at http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Stadium/4546/amen.mid Hope you enjoy all of these MIDIs... BTW, The Cold Song is my first Non-POY MIDI, meaning I had to convert Tablature into Music Notes... (whew) I'm glad the tablature was repeated a lot. : ) Anyway, once I get the Cold Song down, I may be able to start making other NonPOY MIDIs for all of your listening pleasure...I will need help with this from some of you Guitar Playing EDAs. So PLS for the sake of us all Don't >ask those boring magazine type questions, ask stuff you REALLY wanna >know! Use your imagination umm...i think what Jewel has to say about politics, society, and religion are the most intresting questions. they are the most thought-filled ones...and are (unlike what you said) unlike the one's that we can find anwsers to in magazines. i read all the questions sent in the earlier post, and i thought they were all quite good. if you want to find out facts about Jewel, then there are many informative articles, magazines, websites, and books on her life and history. i think this question asking oppertuinity gives the eda's a chance to find out more about Jewel. a huge part of someone is their views on politics, society, and religion. i think many people find Jewel is an inspiration, and would like to know more about her personality and opinions than the basic facts about her. anyway, i think all the questions were good...and they are questions that i "REALLY wanna know". thanks, love, an apoligies... <3 Julia the blue angel p.s. jagged/ryan- can you please email me...i lost your addy. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 23 Jun 1998 19:22:20 EDT From: DewdropGrl@aol.com Subject: INTRO TO THE EAST Hey Angels, When I went to my Jewel concert last year, she played this song Intro to the East. I mean, there's a line in the first verse, in the lyric sheet, that I've never heard her sing... and she's always changing SOMEthing... whether it's a melody or a lyric... I don't think her works are static, if you know what I mean? | Jesse Dangerously http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/~ad309 | subterranean seraph 16 Trust Everyone | ad309@chebucto.ns.ca Ekam Sat, Viprah Bahudha Vadanti | ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V3 #342 ***************************
