Jewel is in Seventeen's 10th Annual Readers' Poll as: Best Solo Artist and Artist You Pretend You Are When You Sing In Your Brush. There's also a picture of her, looking gorgeous!! It's on page 92. Love, Maggie, the rambling angel ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Jun 1998 11:13:47 -0500 From: Jennie Anderson Subject: neruda poem does anyone have a copy of pablo neruda's "your breath is enough"? i'm just wondering what it's like, since jewel raves about it. and when she said the title on "the view," i thought she said "your breast is enough"! OOPS! i went to the library to try to find the poem, but they only had 1 neruda book and the whole thing was in spanish! after taking 5 years, i could at least figure out that that poem was NOT in the book. any help would be appreciated! thanks, jennie ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Jun 1998 19:07:50 +0200 From: "Francois Cartegnie" Subject: ANWA I've just received my copy of ANWA from Amazon.com. I'm really surprised. The old paper style i really pleasant and cover is great. I also got a sticker, on the first page of the book, just under ANWA, with blue and black border, gold written. Is this the same sticker as the books in the virgin stores ? (that would mean that amazon.Com also got autographied ones) In the package, there was a waldenbook report magazine, with jewel on front page and an article. If someone wants a color copy... ask me ! Francois. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Jun 1998 19:08:22 +0200 From: Michiel van Gorkum Subject: jewellryics asked by dutch fan! hello fans of jewel, is there any fan of jewel that has the lyrics of the song the water is wide taken from the lilith fair cd this year where jewel is singing a beatiful part on with sarah & indigo girl! It's just so we all know one another better, and so we can trade stuff and share information. So if you're British then send me your e-mail! Send it to me personally, with the title BRITISH EDA, so i won't delete it as junk ;-). When i think i've got all the addresses there are then i'll post them on the list, so everybody has them. That way, we can do collective e-mails between us etc etc. I don't think there will be many of us though :()) Thanks, Erica ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Jun 1998 21:36:58 -0400 (EDT) From: Santee Subject: Jewel Mention in the Augusta Chronicle Nothing really big about this little excerpt from those of us on this list. It was a rehash and summary of the major questions from the AOL chat. Picture was one of the many we have seen before. It was just newsworthy for us in that it is one of the few mentions in articles down here in the south. If you are wonderin about where it was down here, it is no on the web. article is located in the EXTREME! section for teens at the end under netitems.
