I just got back from the megastore. I was there pretty early. Earlier then I needed to be. The amount of people when they finally let us in wasn't to bad. Everyone on line was pretty kewel and aside from one "SILLY" angel everybody seemed to keep order. I don't like to bad mouth anyone but "The Angel Who Cuts Lines" knows who he is, and everyone around him knows too. Outside of him I had a GREAT time, and I Can't Hardly Wait till Tuesday. I saw some EDAs, met some new people (hi David!) and reserved a copy of the book and the CD - they weren't exactly too organized there. I think you just bring your pass and pick up the book - I'm most excited about getting to maybe aske a question...yay! Many nights of poetry - last night I went to the Allen Ginsburg tribute at St. John the Divine and Patti Smith just was her amazing inspiring self and many other poets spoke too. see everyone on Tuesday!! Both places told me that the books would go on sale when the stores opened on Tuesday, and neither would "hold" a book for me. The poetry reading starts at 4pm. I plan to drive to the Costa Mesa store early Tuesday Morning. If they are out of books or whatever I may consider driving on to the LA one, but I haven't decided. I have room in my car for one other person, so if there's an EDA out there looking for a ride, who won't mind leaving pretty early in the morning and then killing time until four (or possibly waiting in line that long, I have no idea how many people will show up) drop me an email, and maybe we can figure something out.
