(over 18,000 less emails for smoe.org to send out :) Depending on how many actually roll in, there may be a second one of these tomorrow :-) By the way, for those that didn't know, it's my understanding that most, if not *all* national anthems at the Super Bowl are lip-synched. I am quite sure it was not Jewel's decision at all. Besides, a list member posted the other night that Steve Poltz (a very close friend of Jewel) told him that all Super Bowl anthems are lip synched. (I myself CAN remember noticing quite a few lip sychings in the Super Bowl lately) Personally, I think it was a wonderful rendition....sung it just basically the way it was meant to be sung, no outlandish styling that you see way too often. As to those below mentioning she's not too good of a lip syncher, well that's good news if you ask me. First of all, she did a great job singing it.
