Jewel was still very unknown at this point, i became so obsessed with her. my sister found save the linolium at a flea market for like $5 or something. i remember playing the cd for all my friends, and they were like "how can you listen to this?" i even wrote a song about romeo and juliet to WWSYS and sang it in front of my english class. the next year, kids from my class were coming up to me telling me they heard "that song you sang in class" on the radio. anyway, that's my story : ) love ya, Tara the angel who hasnt found an identity yet ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 11 Jan 1998 22:14:13 EST From: ICURMINE Subject: POY WHOA! there is a version of POY with a bonus disc? anyone willing to gimme some info? i also would be willing to buy a copy under the same terms as Palantir Tim ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 11 Jan 1998 19:44:26 -0800 From: Algernon Subject: njc/jc I dunno :) ok I have a quesiton :) I don't post much or anything, so let me say "hi" to all you angels. Also, does anyone >happen to have the lyrics and/or tabs to >"When I Was With You"? Thanks >...have a wonderful day! :-)~ Kelly There seems to be a misconception about Joy and Jewel co-writing, "When I Was With You", which they did not. They did co-write two other tunes that were never recorded, "All Ready Gone" and "Oh Summertime". On one of the Inner Change tapes, Joy sings three of her own songs, "The Love Beneath Your Lies", "Where Have You Gone, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean" and "God Damn Cowboy" (also known as "The Cowboy Song"). The tape was made at one of Jewel's performances at the Inner Change Coffee House in Pacific Beach, CA on 4/7/94. During Jewel's show, she invited Joy up on stage to do a few of her own songs. Jewel also joined with Joy to sing a solo on "Where Have You Gone, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean."
