Hey folks, I just cruised by the Woodstock Radio website and they are "now playing" show#3, which is a rare Jewel show from 1995 from the Tinker Street Cafe. It appears you need Real Audio to play this, but I did not dig in deep enough to see if it has other audio player capabilities. Go to http://www.radiowoodstock.com/tinker.html (which is the main page for the weekly show) and then click "playlist" or just go to http://www.radiowoodstock.com/playtink.html The set list, according to the site is: untitled Mr. Jones Race Car Driver Tiny Love Spaces Oh The Night Amen untitled Who Will Save Your Soul Sensitive Sorry It Be That Way Deep Water Rocker Girl Here When Gone Swedish Song (Wolf and Dolphin) My Real Audio isn't working, so I have no idea what the "untitled" songs are. I THINK this show will be up for a week (until next Friday), but I may be wrong. It had very good quality and Jewel's performance was superb as always. Some of her comments between songs were some that I hadn't heard before however they had the same nature as most of her stories. She thanked her audience at the end for helping her do what she loves and it was very sweet. You could tell by the applause at the end of the songs that the audience was small. I believe it said at the end it was from February of 1995. Here is the setlist: 1000 Miles Away Life's a Great Big Mystery Show Racecar Driver Tiny Love Spaces Angel Standing By Amen Money Who Will Save Your Soul I'm Sensitive Sometimes It Be That Way Deep Water (written a few weeks prior) Rocker Girl Here When Gone Swedish Song (Wolf and Dolphin) There you go everyone and I highly recommend everyone check this out. it's at: http://www.radiowoodstock.com/playtink.html Karen ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 26 Dec 1997 23:54:50 PST From: "* Jewel *" Subject: Hey every1 =) Hey everyone! It's a wonderful show from BEFORE Jewel's album was released! It's from February 20th, 1995. This show is notable for a number of reasons besides the fact that it's not commonly circulating among collectors. This was during Jewel's residency tour & it's a very quiet respectible audience. There's a few gems in the setlist including nice clear versions of "Life's A Great Big Mystery Show" & "Here When Gone". There's also the extremely rare "Money" & one of the very first performances of "Deep Water". The setlist is as follows: Jewel 2/20/95 Tinker Street Cafe, Woodstock, NY 1000 Miles Away Life's A Great Big Mystery Show Race Car Driver Tiny Love Spaces Angel Standing By Amen Money Who Will Save Your Soul I'm Sensitive Sometimes It Be That Way Deep Water Rocker Girl Here When Gone Dolphin & Wolf So check out the above URL and enjoy this webcast. Everything here is groovin! I'm in such a good mood 'casue yesterday was my one month aniversary with my boyfriend!!! Anyway, I hope everyone's holiday season is going great! First off, I'd like to say that for the longest time the people on the East Coast were supposed to organize a gathering and no one has done anything about it. I know there's not a whole bunch of great places over here but we can figure out something if we just all put our heads together! "Where there's a will, there's a way". For example: I live in the so-called sub-urbs of Philly and there's the cutest little coffee house right down the street which has like open mike nights and all that fun stuff for all you east coasters who sing or play an instrument! Second of all, I'd love to trade angelfood with a few people. Just a few because I'm pretty busy. If you email me I'd be more than happy to send you my list. Also, I'd really love to get an EDA t-shirt. I don't mean to start ANOTHER thread about them so please email me privately if you know where to get them. I've been meaning to get one for the longest time but now I finally got a job (go me!!!) so I can afford one!!!!!! Woo Hoo! Finally, for any of you other "poetic angels" out there, I write poetry (hence the angel name "The Poetic Angel") and I'd love to share it with another poet if you care to share yours. Email me privately please. Well, once again Happy Holidays!!!
