Hi all, I've been on the phone all day today talking to most of the artists & their management regarding the next "Future Folklore" tape release. Everyone I've spoken to so far has been excited about it & has graciously granted authorization to be included. :-) Jewel, Cindy Lee Berryhill, Tara MacLean, Elizabeth Hummel, Lisa Sanders, Mary Dolan & Gregory Page have all given their personal blessing. I'm assuming Joy Eden Harrison will also go for it, although I've not yet discussed it with her. If all goes well with Joy, the proposed track lineup on the 100 minute cassette will contain the following live performances, all in PHENOMENAL QUALITY: "FUTURE FOLKLORE" VOLUME 3- EDAF Thanksgiving Shows Java Joe's, Ocean Beach, CA 11/28 & 29/97 SIDE A: Welcome To Java Joe's------------Wendy Truly Divine--------------------- Lisa Sanders & Mary Dolan Where Melancholy Goes------------Mary Dolan Rainbow-------------------------Lisa Sanders & Mary Dolan Let Her Feel The Rain-------------Tara MacLean Silence-------------------------Tara MacLean Jessica-------------------------Jewel Lasciatemi Morirre---------------Jewel Love Lies Broken-----------------Elizabeth Hummel Are We Gonna Get Naked?----------Elizabeth Hummel SIDE B: Goodwill Store-----------------Elizabeth Hummel w/Jewel & Gregory Page White Christmas-------- -------Gregory Page Walking In The Park------------ Gregory Page Great Mystery ----------- ------Gregory Page Where Have You Gone Jimmy Dean?------Joy Eden Harrison Angels Watching Over Me --------------Joy Eden Harrison Aquamarine------------Cindy Lee Berryhill & The Garage Orchestra UFO Suite ------------- Cindy Lee Berryhill & The Garage Orchestra God Bless The Living Room Tour-------- Cindy Lee Berryhill I'm still at a loss as to how to administer this particular tree, but we'll figure it out over the next few weeks. Mike is far too busy these days simply running the list & preparing for his tape tree at the end of January. So I'll be looking for someone capable of administrating this tree, preferably someone with experience. Contact me if you think you are qualified & actually have the desire to administrate such a beast of a project. I need someone with a lot of time, very high quality equipment & incredible patience & stamina! There's a lot of glory, but it's a total pain-in-the-ass job, I assure you! You'll be fillin some mighty big shoes! (right, Mike? ;-) I'm also still waiting to hear from anyone with excellent photos of these events. So far, only two people have responded. Please, if you have even one particularly good shot of any of the performers, contact me. Dennis is working up the j-card & once his usual mindblowing artwork is together & we have an administrator, the sign up for "Future Folklore" will begin. Please wait to contact me regarding "wanting the tapes" until then. I will post when we're completely ready. I'm hoping for soon after the holidays. The recordings on this particular tape are really wonderful & IMO, surpass my "Jewelstock Tapes" production work. I believe it will be the highest quality recording ever treed on this list. As always, this tape will be a FREE distribution with each person supplying their own blank & self addressed pre-postaged mailer. Many of the goals I had for "Future Folklore" have already been realized including last summer's "Living Room Tour" as well as the recent weekend in San Diego. I hope with continued interest, this series will inspire many more music-related events & turn on many of you to artists you may not have been exposed to otherwise. Everyone who was there can testify to how wonderful these performances are. I hope you enjoy Future Folklore Volume 3 - "EDAF Thanksgiving". It was an unforgettable week of good friends, hilarious parties & great music! What else is there?
