There are alot of pressures and such that come with fame. You have to worry about how each and every one of your actions will be interpreted and how it will affect your "image". Sometimes the pressure and stress is more than the person can handle, so they turn to drugs and other things, which in turn lead to worse and worse things. I just hope this dark cycle does not happen to Jewel. (These are just my thoughts. I have no personal experience with fame, thank goodness, so take it as you will.) I remember about 2 years ago (I think November 95), I was zapping the t.v. when I heard that girl (Jewel, but I didn't know at this point) singing songs from The Wizard of OZ. Though I didn't really feel like listening = to that kind of music, that angel voice really got my attention so I watched it all. I had gotten tickets to one of Jewel's concerts. For some reason, it was held in this forum-like stadium. I managed to squeeze myself through the lines and gotten in. I don't really know why I did that. I just wanted to get in. So while I was going through the hallways backstage or wherever I was, I ran into Jewel. She just popped out of nowhere, so of course I said hi and started talking to her. She was very friendly, and talked back to me a lot. I don't really remember what happened next, but I think she asked me to go backstage with her. So we both started walking back through where I came from, talking to each other as we walked. There were also a lot of people moving back and forth, and they seemed really busy with something, so we had to sometimes weave ourselves through traffic. As we were climbing up some stairs, Sarah Michele Geller (The girl who plays Buffy on the tv show) was walking down! I was so excited!! I love Buffy and then here was Sarah Geller walking towards me!! I really wanted to talk to her, too, but Jewel was already a few feet in front of me. She looked back, as if she was saying, "Well, come on." I was a little confused, because I wanted to be with Jewel, but I also wanted to talk to Sarah. But I chose Jewel, of course, so I just said a quick hello to Sarah, and she said hello back and went on her way. I caught up with Jewel, and we entered this one darker room. It looked like it was backstage, but I wasn't sure. She met up with someone and got a piece of paper from her. I think it was a her, but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure who that other person was, but I think it was her mom, Nedra. Okay, I'll interrupt my story to bring you back to an earlier dream I had that same night. I don't remember what I was doing, but I think my friend (or someone I knew) wanted an opinion on something. I don't know why (sorry, I know I'm saying that a lot, but I really don't quite remember *exactly* what happened) but I wrote my opinion on a little piece of paper. On it, I wrote, "This is really lame" or something like that. I just know that I had said something about something being lame. I put that piece of paper in my pocket. Okay, back to my Jewel dream... So Jewel was asking me for a piece of paper. I don't know what she was asking for, but I reached in my pocket and took out the piece of paper that I think she was asking for. I didn't really read what was on it, but I just figured that that was it. So I handed Jewel the paper, and she looked at me as if she was insulted. She said, "What?!? How dare you!". Then, she showed me the piece of paper, and it was the piece of paper that said something about being lame! I was in total shock! I couldn't believe I gave her that paper!! I don't really remember what it was she was asking for in the first place, but I felt really bad! I apologized to her, but she kept looking at me funny, like she didn't believe I was sincere in my apology. I told her that that was for someone else, and I didn't mean it. Again, she looked at me in disguist and started to back away. Then, I woke up. :( I think that's been my 4th Jewel dream. And all but 1 of them have turned out bad. :( I was pretty amazed at last night's dream, though, because that piece of paper came back from one dream to the next. After I had dreamt of writing that paper to someone else, I woke up. Then, when I went back to sleep, I dreamt of Jewel, and unfortunately, the paper came back! Can anyone who knows about dreams tell me what this meant? And what's the significance of Buffy being in this one? How come I had to chose between them? Also, does anyone want to share a dream they've had of Jewel?
