Is Jewel playing at The Hard Rock in Las Vegas on New Years Eve? Yes, this is now confirmed. I'm not sure, but its possible that this may be broadcast on VH1 and/or MTV. 2. Is Jewel scheduled to perform at the Lilith Fair 98 Preview Gig in West Palm Beach this coming December? Although previously reported that Jewel would participate in this gig, Lenedra said that the answer is no, Jewel will not be taking part in this, after all. If that changes, I'll let you know. But as of now, Jewel will not be there. 3. Are there any other gigs scheduled in the USA prior to New Years Eve? Other than one "corporate gig" in California during December, nothing is currently scheduled for the rest of 1997. This one California gig will not be open to the public & tickets will not be available. If public concert dates are added in December, I'll let you know ASAP. 4. Is Atlantic releasing "Angel Standing By" as a Christmas single? The answer to this is yes & no. They are releasing it as a single to radio stations only as a "thank you" for their support. It will also be included as part of a "Xmas Sampler" that Atlantic may be releasing to the public. Its simply the POY album version, not a live version as some have speculated. It's three hours in length and the description says "From Toronto and Pittsburgh. This PPV exclusive wraps up the most successful tour of the summer, with headliners Sheryl Crow and Jewel, plus many others." A replay follows at Midnight ET. The question I have is, is will there be a replay on another day because I'm going to be out of town! :-( If anyone knows, let me know. Oh, btw, it's $19.95 plus tax. Click on "UK Tour Photos" near the top of the screen. Unfortunately a lot of them were infected with the dreaded red-eye, that's the problem with flashing when too close to Jewel :-) The main images have been scanned in at 640*480 resolution. I'll probably also have some pictures of the two London gigs sometime after 14th November.
