My name is Mandy and I've been with EDA for about 2 days now. I found out about it by going into one of the Jewel web sites one night. I LOVE Jewel, she is the most beautiful and talented human beings on Earth. From everything I've read she is a very sweet girl too. I try to model my actions to be like her. My boyfriend even tells me I kind of look like her! Please e-mail me so I can find out hoe this works THANX!! LUV YA! Mandy-The loving angel (If this name is taken please let me know!) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 6 Oct 1997 07:19:19 -05:0 From: "Nathan" Subject: FG single: best price on the web! These are my favourite people to buy CDs from on the web, because they're very personal; they have a HUGE selection of imports and other rarities (including jazz and classical); and their prices beat CDnow's EVERY time! Example: Foolish Games Import at www2.wpmusic.com is $10.95. YWMFM Import same price WWSYS Import ditto. Just be careful with the search engine they have. Last name before first, but no comma between! They also have a great selection of Sheryl Crow (holy imports Batman!), Heather Nova and Ani DiFranco, and the lowest prices anywhere on both. And now that I've provided that service... To the attention of recently subscribed newbies: There are A LOT of people on this list who don't post anymore, though they used to do so quite often. They refrain from posting due to strains on the hardware we (the list) are borrowing. This is a courteous gesture in compliance with requests by list management (who's only relaying requests from the list owner) to cut down on posts. Such action has already saved the list on at least one occassion. None of these people of whom I speak involved themselves in this recent mess, and they never have sunk to such levels in the brief half year that I've been on this list. They are the heart of the list. They are the reason it will continue to exist. So if you'd lost hope and maybe decided that this "EDA thing" was just a lot of hot air, realize that it's not. Mike has already said it, but I'll repeat (paraphrasing of course): this list is a great thing and if you stick around after the dust clears, you're welcome to be a part of it. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails..." I hope you enjoyed that. Have a good night! I especially want to thank my best bud The Blue Meanie himself, Jason V. who was on the phone with me bright and early (despite the 3 hour time difference and the fact he hadnt slept in like 24 hours) it meant alot.
