Hello again all you wonderful angels. I hope I'm not offending anyone by taking up too much space, but I've really got to get something off my chest. You see, I've been pretty depressed lately, because things just have not been going well for me. Amidst school, lost friendships, and broken hearts, there really hasn't been much time or reason to be happy. In fact, the brightest spot for me nowadays is the time I spend at my computer hearing from and responding to all you beautiful people who make me feel so welcome and at peace here. For this I'd like to thank you all; joining the EDA's has turned out to be one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. It's hard for me to think of the degradatory mental state I'd be in today if I didn't have you guys to lift my spirits. You are truely all saviors, heroes, and, fittingly, angels. In particular, I'd like to thank Angela (the littlest angel with the biggest heart). Despite the overwhelming burden she seems to have accumulated by helping so many EDA's, she has been more than happy and willing to help me out with Angelfood. Beyond that, her words are so lovely and sweet that she never fails to lift my spirits in her posts. I hope it doesn't seem like I'm singling only her out; to everyone else who contacted me, I love each and everyone of you as well. Sorry I haven't been able to get back to all of you; unfortunately, when juno had it's little accident, I lost a lot of messages I had not saved and thereore cannot remember you all. If you wrote to me privately and haven't heard from me yet, please write back so that I can reply. Thanks so much! Love, Paul (the Live Angel) "Murder an Angel...I will stumble... Early in '95 (Feb?) a few people from there, Neal Copperman, Steve Ito, Neile Graham, and a few others (please don't feel slighted if I didn't mention you, I haven't had enough coffee yet to properly remember anything!). For anyone relatively new to the list, you do not have to have an "angel name". I see that some newbies think they have to come up with an "angel name" to be included in the list, but that's not true. If you really want to have an "angel name", however, it's perfectly alright (more power to ya), but please don't think that it's a must. So don't rack your brains trying to figure one out if you don't have a obsessive urge to be known as "the so-and-so angel", and don't worry if someone's taken that name or not. Just go by your real name and that's good enough for us. I promise to try to make it short. Two days after my birthday (May 18) this year my friend and i went out with the guy she was seeing and his friend....it wasn't a double date but it turned out to be a damn good birthday present. We saw eachother 3 days later to celebrate our birthdays together (his is May 19) and after that didn't go a day for two months with out seeing eachother and/or sleeping over eachothers house. I completely fell in love with him...he told me he was falling in love with me. He was everything i'd ever been looking for in a boyfriend. And he would show me how interested he was in me....even just by staring into my eyes or saying little comments to me. Anyway 3 weeks b4 i went to Europe he decided to move to Santa Barbara (in CA...4 hours away from me) instead of San Francisco (20 min. away from me) for school because his friend was jerking him around with the apartment in S.F. So for 3 weeks I was an emotional wreck. He didn't want to have a long distance relationship...well i didn't either. I'd be upset when he wouldn't want to see me as much...which i found out he was sort of pushing me away so it wouldn't be so hard to leave me. I think both of our feelings were justified...but the night before he left we got in a huge disagreement and i ended up crying hysterically cause he said that he thought it'd be best if we didn't see eachother the rest of that night. I kept crying and he yelled "what do you want me to do!" said he couldn't deal with this right now and went inside his house.....So even tho I've been touring Europe and i should be happy...all i do is listen to Jewel and Fiona Apple cds, cry, and talk to my friends. He hasn't called me in the past month and 1/2 and i was thinking of contacting some of his friends to get his number and just talk to him as a friend...not even bring up the past...I just want him in my life. Should i call??? Is there anything i can do to ease my pain....My heart is broken into a thousand pieces. You all EDAs are the nicest people I've met on line and appreciate all your help. Jeff Wasiliko was there- the owner of this list- and it was good to see him again, even if he DID introduce me to someone else as "Rebecca". You know, whatever. While all 3 of the girls were good, one of them really stood out to me. Her name was Kinnie Starr. She did spoken word, she played an electric guitar, she sang, and she RAPPED. Yes. Rapped. And I LIKED it. She was on first, and I was completely mesmerized by her. She was also selling t-shirts and stickers. Paul gave me copy of her CD, and I haven't been able to listen to it yet, but if you get a chance , go see her ! At one point she was telling a poem, and she switched from English into Italian into Spanish into French back into English. Man... that's talent. The other two women were pretty good, too. I didn't really like Veda Hille, and Oh Susanna sounds much better live than on her CD.
