We are criticizing Jewel way too much, still!! I thought that we were FANS. You know, people who like certain persons (in this case, person) because of who they are or what they do?? We were supposed to like her, I thought?? That's why we all subscribe, right?? Okay, enough of that! I am a Jewel fan (doy) but I don't have her CD, or angelfood, or whatever. NOTHING. Mostly because I'm too lazy to get off my crack and buy it. I've been planning on getting it, but, I haven't. (Hey! I do have the Batman and Robin soundtrack!!) And, if anyone would like to give me some Angelfood, hey, go right ahead and e-mail me!! Oh yeah, does anyone know where in the Batman and Robin movie do they play her song?? I went to the movie three times, but I didn't hear it. (Maybe I was too busy staring at Chris O'Donnell!) But, if anyone could tell me thanks a lot!! One more thing, are there any EDA's in IL?? Or any that live in St. Louis, MO?? Thanks a bunch!! Erin is now back at her dorm, resting after a difficult day in the hospital. Diagnosis: A SEVERE kidney infection coupled with dehydration. She's got a few more holes in her body thanks to the iv's, but she's okay for now. She'll be out of class for the next few days to recover. What a coincidence... The day after Lilith Fair at Noblesville, there was a webcast of a concert with Sugar Ray performing, and two of the band members actually chatted for a record 2 1/2 hours with all of us in the chatroom area. One of them was a guy named Murphy, and if I recall, he's the bassist. What does this have to do with Jewel? Actually, it does have something to do with her.. When I mentioned having gone to Lilith Fair (was at the same venue the night before), and started talking about Jewel (some other jewel fans and EDA's were in there too)... about the only thing Murphy could say was "she has nice tits"... and take a wild guess what I responded.. well, it probably wasn't a line out of My Own Private God's Gift to Women.. no.. certainly not. The EDA's present found it rather amusing. He didn't understand. But that's ok. Sometimes it be that way. Robbie Diehl lepper@parodius.com On Mon, 8 Sep 1997, HAI K. Perhaps until next summer. Kelly created a buzz at Java Joes and an ample following. Only until last Friday did I hear her. Igor had heard her on a couple occasions and left me brief message: I have two words for you, 'Kelly' and 'Hoyer'. Hoyer reminds me alot of Jewel and in fact sings a couple of Jewel covers. Unlike Jewel, at her age of eighteen, I suspect that she may be a more accomplished guitarist. If you happen to live in the San Luis Obispo area, this is where she's attending college.
