I remember her saying on one of the Jewelstock tapes Pieces of You was written for a girl that hated Jewel. Which one is right?? Hope everyone is doing great! I just bought my tickets today, but I only could get the orchaestra seats. However, it costs me $35.00 per ticket plus a $5.00 convience charge. I was under the impression that the orchaestra seats were only $25.00 according to a post on the list. I was at the door of Blockbuster Music when they opened. I was just wondering if anyone got the same tickets I got and how much they paid for them or if anyone were able to get any of the "gold circle" seats. My ticket is in Sec D, row 15, seat 14. If someone could please reply and let me know if the information I got was accurate. And also since I don't know the size of the theatre, are my seats considered good seats? Thank very much.... I'd like to point out that we know Jewel wrote those songs long before recording them, then had the Stray Gators play backup on the album versions. Sheryl Crow, for all we know, may have written a chord progression and let the Tuesday Night whoever fill in the rest. If this was the case, she did not write the song solo. That's why you see groups like U2 or that dog having some songs saying (for example) Lyrics: Bono, Music: U2, or Written by Anna Warriker and Petra Hayden, even though Bono (or Anna, or Petra) may have had a basic progression and sound in mind. If you believe Sheryl, fine, but please don't say that because there's controversy, that Mr. Baerwald must be a sexist pig trying to keep Sheryl down. While that is possible, the chances are very, very slim. Sort of like some of these conspiracy theories floating around. Sorry if I'm skeptical, but aside from the fact that I personally don't like her music, I have heard from almost everyone I know who has met her that Sheryl Crow can accurately be described by many popular 4-letter words, which I will not type here...
