TAPE SENDERS Hey all, I'm baa-aack! Had a splendid time in England except one day in Bath (not the place's fault, though. In fact, Bath was my favorite place). Saw a lot of friends I hadn't seen in a while. But I missed America. I'm not patriotic or anything, I just really missed a lot of things we have here. #1--lower prices #2 bigger restuarant portions #3 sinks that have one faucet instead of two so that you can choose warm water and not be faced with the catch-22 of scalding your hand or freezing your hand. Just got back about half an hour ago and found that my mother's secretary not only didn't pick up the mail (which was all returned, so any of you nice people who sent me tapes to mysteriously find them returned, please email) but she also didn't empty my email as I asked, so I got subscribed to bounces (any of you who have gone away for a long period of time know what I'm talking about) Missed ya'll and my Jewel CD terribly. Only heard one Jewel song the whole time there--WWSYS, but I did see a big poster of her plastered on a trash can (!!!) in London which I assume was advertising the concert I was a day late to attend. When someone advertised extra tickets to that on the list a few weeks back I wanted to scream. The security there is VERY strict b/c they were busted recently for not checking IDs. According to one doorman there the other day, "it's not enough to BE 21, you must be able to prove it."
