I'm having a problem with my CD player and was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and give me some advice or something. It's a 5 disc changer, and it has a random feature where it is supposed to play all songs on the 5 CDs in random order. But lately it will just play for a hour or so and then stop. In January of '95 I was fortunate enough to see Jewel's very last performance at the famed Innerchange in Pacific Beach. She sang before a crowded room of perhaps 150 people. Wally, door man, had turned away those who did not early enough. At twenty, only two years ago, she looked much different than the polished image you see now, but still clearly very beautiful. Peace to all, Steve /> / / Stephen (//////[0]>=====================================- \ \ Horowitz \> "The storm it came up strong and shook the trees and blew away our fears." -R.E.M. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 May 1997 09:26:08 -0500 (CDT) From: Laura Capello Subject: 'burns show in KC 5-13-97 okay... letme first say that i completed my last final that day, philosophy of religion, in fourteen minutes and 52 seconds. okay.. so anyways. duff and i dragged aaron down to the bottleneck early so we could get those wonderful big x's on our hands, and then went out to dinner. well, as soon as we got these, the guy at the door started drawing on our hands, and duff said "jesus" and he replied, "no, my name's tim". and as soo as we were turning around, i spotted stinky "stinkiy!" i yelled, he came over, i put my hand out, "capello". so i asked stinky if i could record, sure he said, and he told the sound guy. well, the sound guy for danger bob decided to have me follow him hile he got a beer, and then showed me what i needed. i guess i left duff ans stinky alone? so, as we were leaving he got a phone call and made us wait. duff said he was talking to steve... so we walked out the door (well, they tried. poor stinky couldnt get the door open, so he went out the entrance door, and called me "buff woman" after i opend the exit door. duff followed stinky) and there was steve (tripping) drinking a surge (the lazer-radio stantion-is giving away this god awful surge cab thingy) and we stared at him and left. so we retunred, i dunno, bout 2 hours later with a lil hand held recorder cuz my good raio's still in kc and we sat on the bleachers while danger bob played (thier suck capability was not as high the last time i saw them) but the "philosopher" on the base somehow blew something out. so they got some listener dude get his base out of his car. meanwhile steve was hittin on a bunch of girls, and he went on astage and sang a beautiful rendition of "we are the world". so anyway, danger bob finally gets off the stage, so duff and i get right up front and center. so the burns finally come out and play that opening song of lots of music and lil words that they used when they opened for jewel then the played lockjaw (duff requestied that. i forgot that steve was talking to us before the concert, and duff introduced herself and steve said "hi, i'ms teve" and duff said "yea, we've met" and steve went "oh. yea" and so he gave me a funny look and i said "i'm capello" capewhat? he said "capello" i replied. "that's unusual" he said "well, it's better than laura i said" and he said yea. endo f story). and so they kept playing and rinking, but after about the first 30 to 40 minuets evertything fell apart. steve didnt know words but kept going for another hour and a half, at least. kicking beer on us, he broke his guitar (kept throwing it on the drums and floor so much he damaged a wire conector thiny) poor stinky's drums crashed at least twice and jon was pissed so basically itwas your run of the mill everyday rugburn concert. at one point some drunken chick went up there and offered steve an antacid, which he just threw on the ground, and found out about a party they wre supppose to play at (1730 kentucky if anyone cares) but gosh darn it if steve didnt just go right upstairs and pass out. okay. so that's enough of the sotry. capello ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 May 1997 10:32:37 -0400 (EDT) From: "Kellyann D. Well, for all of you EDAs that are in Houston. I went to the Circuit City again yesterday after my Nautica Training camp at the J.W. Marriot near there. The Circuit City near the Galleria still has both of the imports. Better hurry! Cuz I only saw one of each yesterday. Well, I gotta go. So all the other EDAs go to Circuit City to try to find this Jewel import. I think someone from Milwaukee got a Jewel import from Circuit City too. Hope you guys find it.
