"Hands Manifest Thought" is 100% *out* as (in the past) Lenedra made it perfectly clear that (with the exception of "EveryDay Angels"), we cannot use any Jewel quotes, lyrics, pictures of Jewel, drawings or sketches by Jewel (etc) without them approving it first. We simply do not have the time to do that right now (Jewel management too busy to deal with it now). I would be willing to help with whatever needs to be done. In addition, I am definitely interested in buying several (about 5) of these picks. I like the idea of blue picks with the Jewelstock angel design on one side (if at all possible). If no one can find out what gauge pick Jewel uses, I say we go with medium so that we'll be between both extremes. On the other side of the picks, I suggest the words "Everyday Angels" In response to Tim Burkeman's post about suspending the pick idea--- I'm sure that even though Jewel doesn't want tons of stuff from all of her fans, she would make an exception for a birthday gift from her EDA's. I mean, come on, she has specifically shown her appreciation for us in her comments on the Launch CD. And as for the copyright thing, I think that Alan (MrBB) or someone else with connections to Jewel's management would be able to get this okayed. Obviously, we are not making a profit on this gift. And do you really think that Jewel would sue us for giving her a birthday gift that shows our gratitude for her work? Anyway, I think that the EDA picks are a great gift which Jewel could use on a regular basis. naveen PS.
