We were waiting around and listening, thrilled after a great show and a security guy came up and said we needed to leave. So someone said "That's Jewel's mom and manager" and he said "I don't care if she doesn't have a pass, you need to leave now." We gave Nedra a buffer so they would have to get through us first and then Larry went off on them ... quite a funny and maddening. Well Nedra didn't have a pass with her so we all left since the security got like 4 other people to push us out. They were quite rude. They were watching Larry all night too since they caught his dat and he luckily got his banner in after making a big fuss. I wasn't aloud to bring in my poster since they said I would "distract others." All righty then. Yeah, I am going to hold up my sign in the middle of a song and have like 50 people kick my a**. A little common sense security! :-) These guys had the biggest power trip but they didn't rain on our huge parade ... so many positive angels at this show plus Clare Danes was there! :-) Mike, why are you here bro? :-) Later ... Jewel was incredible and the Rugburns were outstanding. The Star Lake Amphitheater, an outdoor ~18,000-person venue in suburban Pittsburgh, PA, has recently announced their summer concert schedule, which includes an August 12th Lilith Fair show, with Sarah McLachlin, Indigo Girls, and [relevant to this list] ...JEWEL !!! Cool !!! Outdoors, great August summer night, hopefully the weather will cooperate, under the stars (the same night as the annual Perseid meteor shower, if anyone's interested)...I've always loved these outdoor venues and I can think of no more apt setting for a Jewel concert than places like these! (...or maybe a coffeehouse...or a small theater ... or an arena or..well, whatever :) ). Okay, back to the facts, for the record: Tuesday, August 12th, Star Lake Amphitheater (outside of Pittsburgh, PA0, with Lilith Fair.
