I was so exicited. It was fun. Although she didn't answer any of the questions I sent in, I did see a few EDA's questions get answered. Also, I happened to be in an area with my friend, Tom Proven! That was fun. He was answering some of the questions before she was! Oh, another thing, while waiting for her, I convinced two people to buy the album. One of them hadn't even heard of her before or YWMFM. What happened was I wrote the lyrics to YWMFM and it made that person cry, so I told him/her to buy the album, it'll do the same.! So anyway, I was psyched and I liked it alot! Bye! Peace, Priscilla. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Mar 1997 22:38:33 EST From: harvenger@juno.com (Daniel J. I went with Fish (fellow EDA) to the Pittsburgh show last Saturday. As he stated we arrived early and snuck in to hear the Rugburns (awesome show!) doing their soundchecks... We met and talked with the drummer- Stinky- (this was cool) and prepared for the experience. After the Rugburns rocked, I anxiously awaited Jewel in my front row seat (Thanks Dan Bogacz and Fish). I was truly impressed with Jewel and her talents. The yodeling song was wonderful- and I left Pittsburgh fulfilled and ready for my 4-hr drive back to Cincinnati. Hello to Steve and Laura (2 EDAs who snuck in also), it was nice meeting strangers who really didn't seem like strangers. This is what I like about the EDAs- a feeling of family. I wish I could've met up with the other EDAs who were there, but maybe next time, eh? Well, I've rambled long enough... Thanks for listening... Second, you don't 'do' Wicca. Wicca is a religion, just as Christianity is a religion. Wicca is an earth-based pagan religion, which does practice witchcraft, or Magick. I don't know if Jewel is Wiccan, or if she practices some other form of Magick. But I doubt it.
