I REALLY REALLY REALLY need Detroit tickets if anybody has extras! I had Tickets to the Columbus Ohio show However, I have to work. I COULD call in sick but I'm on shaky ground the way it is and being that they know I want it off it wouldn't be a good idea. So if anyone Has any for sale I would be much appreciative if you would drop me a line and not sell them to anyone else until you've heard back from me. I WILL buy them, I just need to know where to send the dough. :) Mac ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 28 Feb 1997 19:57:28 -0500 (EST) From: NoKOMP@aol.com Subject: Re: Let's use some common sense I AM SORRY FOR THE INCONVIENCE THAT I PUT WHEN SENDIND THE MESSAGE THAT WAS DIRECTED TO CRICKET. In light of all the recent Grammy nonsense, (not the awards, but rather the inane littany of posts about them), I have one thing to pass along. I left work early today in anticipation of a great weekend. It was warm outside and I rolled my windows down during the drive home. I could smell the earth softening again as spring approached early and I was flooded suddenly with memories of last summer. In response to this, I popped in my copy of Jewelstock and heard the beginning of "Memoirs of a Housewife" (my current favorite Jewel song as it reveals a lovely peverse complexity). The sun shone on my face as I drove down the highway and I felt free again............ Where has this sort of thing gone???? I don't hear this sort of thing anymore, except, oddly enough, from a lot of the newer people. However, it has been nice to see the Harris contigent returning with a sparkle in it's eye. Anyway, Love you all so Dearly Jon ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 28 Feb 1997 22:16:09 -0600 From: "Damon Schmidt" Subject: SJC---Me, S Poltz, etc...ATTENTION Choir Of Angels people...
