THIS IS NOT A JOKE PLESES SEND IT TO AS MANY >PEOPLE AS SOON AS YOU CAN! In defense of hackers everywhere, I would just like to point out that 'true' hackers do not go around destroying data, giving people viruses, etc.. True hackers learn. That's all. We are curious about things like the net and security, and good stuff like that. People that go around spreading viruses and destroying things are little more than common vadals with a knack for computers. I hack, it's what I like to do, and never once have I destroyed someone's hard drive, given someone a virus, or anything mean like that. In fact, I have even helped security administrators with holes in security. By slipping in that way, and dropping them a line, the hole has been patched. This is not meant as a flame in anyway shape or form, merely to clarify. I think 'hackers' have been given a bad name by the media. They attribute anyone with any computer skill at all a hacker. Unfortuneatly, the only people the media ever gets word of are the ones that have planted a virus or something. As a note of further clarification, I highly doubt that 'hackers' are going to have a riot on AOL. I wouldn't worry about it at all. In fact viruses really can't be given by email, unless you download the file, and open it. But that would be just foolish.
