Besides where in the Bible does it say that we can't >> pray for forgiveness of people's sins. Quote me the verse >> where it say's that! >Yes, but why do you think Jewel has been chosen for eternal damnation? Nobody said she was. The fact of the matter is, nobody's perfect and everybody sins. If you're a religious person (I'm not exactly sure where I stand on religion right now...), then you believe, I suppose, that people need to be forgiven of their sins. That's the way it works, people sin, and God forgives them. So, I think is all Justin is asking is that we pray that Jewel does get forgiven for whatever she has done. He's not saying we should forgive Jewel and he's not saying that if we don't pray for her forgiveness that she won't get forgiven and that she'll be damned. He's just saying that by us praying that she will be forgiven, that it helps, s'all... Personally, I think the whole thing is silly. - - Todd "For every complex problem, there is an easy answer, and it is wrong." - H.L. Due to the occurences in the recent weeks, I would like to address theissue of FLAMMING!!! Currently, any personal thought, message, or fact has been in one way or another Flammed. I don't know what has happened here but something has got to change. I am outraged at all of this public FLAMMING. If an angel on this list has a problem with another person's opinion or idea, then don't post your opposition to the list, do it Privitately. Another obeversation I have noticed is that some people on this list don't read the orginal message and decide to post a FLAME with out knowing all of the information. I beleve that every person on this list has the right to flame but before you do, atleast know the complete story and again, FLAME priviately. A third obversation is that many people on this list don't read the who the message is acutally from. We all must take care in what we read. Check the Email address and make sure you know who wrote it. If it is a forward, usally there are (>) indicating who wrote the orginal message. Finally, and for this one I completely agree with Mike Connell; any post can be taken a multitude of ways. What one person is thinking is totally different than what another person is thinking. There really isn't any rememdy for this problem. Just think of how you would feel to get FLAMED in front of several hundred other people. It can get pretty embarrassing. All I can say is that before you FLAME someone, make sure that you understand what the person is saying; and if not, ask privitately and work it out between the two of you. I don't want any of you to think that I'm an angry angel or anything of the sort. I know that some of you are going to want to write me on this topic but please remember, FLAME PRIVIATELY. I merely observe this as a phenomenon that occurs when you have so many people discussing things, especially when it is hard to tell precisely what somebody is thinking over email, which lacks body language and voice inflection. I don't think it's flaming, I think it's people being opinionated and wanting to share.
