A lot of people have helped by sending copies of the broadcasts & I am making a point to utilize the best sources available for each thing. Some have not arrived yet, but I'm certain that what I have so far cannot be improved on. I'd like to thank the following folks who have either contributed tapes or are still sending copies. Even though a few will be redundant copies, I still appreciate your efforts! Big Thanks go to: Anand Gajjala,Chris Phillips,Jerry Zigmont, Scott Hamilton, Dan Foxley & Steve Tze. Carolyn (Truthseecr@aol.com) will be designing an amazing j-card & I'm sure she'll do a wonderful job (as in the past) & my partner Big Mike Connell will do the administration again. Mike will call for branch signup etc toward the end of January so that EDAs away for the holidays will get a fair chance to be included. Please wait until then for exact info. This tape will be worth the wait & like the JS Tapes, EVERYTHING will be in stereo & proffessional quality, NOT audience tapes. The goal of this tape was to provide the broadcasts in excellent quality to all who were unable to get them, so non broadcast material will not be included other than the opener surprise. OK. What exactly is going to be on this tape you ask? Here's the info. Some things have changed in an effort to keep quality consistantly excellent throughout. It was at a hotel and a bunch of people I knew were staying there. I walked into the theater/lobby part of the hotel and caught the last 2 seconds of Jewel's show and the curtain closed! I was so mad. All my friends were just sitting there in the audience and were like "you missed it". I remember I was screaming at them like "why didn't you tell me? why didn't you come get me? why didn't I know? This show wasn't on The List!!!" So then one of my friends turned to me and said she was staying in the hotel too. So then I told her I had to go change and find her. The rest of the dream was just me running through a hotel looking for her. Unfortunately, I never found her. I guess you could say that was more of a nightmare. Oh well. Last night I went to Brick by Brick in San Diego to bring in the New Year with the Rugburns. Almost half way through the show, Steve started playing YWMFM and started looking all around the club like he was looking for someone. Finally he said, "I'll sing the first verse." Then Jewel jumped up on the stage and started singing with him. She sang four songs with the band; "You Were Meant For Me," "I Thought I Saw You Last Night," "Silver Linings," and "Daddy She's A Goddess." The entire time Jewel was on stage, people in the crowd kept telling Steve to kiss her. They both looked a little embarrassed and just smiled and kept making faces at each other. Also, they put another microphone on the stage, but Jewel stayed at the same mic as Steve. It was a great way to bring in the new year!
