Jewel makes money; she smiles, she sings; we smile, we sing! ***Superdeformed angel wrote: >>Such an award from playboy may show that perverts have more appreciation for her then the general public does.<< First of all, have you die-hard fans who SEE how phenomenal Jewel is (especially in live performance) noticed how the majority of the rest of the world doesn't see her the same way? I guess that would make you (and me) the oddballs here... so deviation from the norm ain't necessarily a bad thing, you understand. And Playboy is for perverts? Hey, I believe 98% of the healthy straight male population would thumb through an issue in a minute! If some one can email me how exactly to create a midi file, I'll do my best to create one. The show was absolutely fabulous. Screwed up the DAT recording on the SD show, but got the entire show in LA. I've been jamming to it constantly. But thanks to OldLadyNow (if that's the proper aka name at this point :)), I've got some other awesome tapes to jam to now. I took 2 rolls of film of the San Diego show and 7 at the LA show and they're simple awesome. I was in the 2nd row in SD and 4th in LA (for a brief moment and then at the stage smack dab in front of ME taking pictures. I was all set if Jewel showed up though. I had brought about a dozen grape lollipops and a enlarged pictured for her if she was there. I did get an autograph from ME thought through the fan club. I'm still on cloud nine from the whole experience. I want to also mention what a great guy Larry is. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have been able to DAT the concert. When I bought the unit, it didn't have the battery holder in it. Took a taxi to Burbank ($25 each way) to the Sony corp who in turn, didn't have it in stock. Called Larry to tell what a bad day I was having and he went to a store in his area and picked one up and brought it over before the show. Just shows what an ANGEL he is. Oh, Larry, I got the picture developed of us with the banner. Looks great. Email me privately Larry :) If anyone likes Melissa Etheridge, email me if your interested in copies of pictures or tape.
