I'm an idiot when it comes to recording. I taped the Fresno concert on microcassette, and though the sound quality isn't great, I'd send a copy to anyone who can help. One benefit of being a tropical EDA: the shows we watch on TV (the networks and cable) are mostly a week behind, since tapes of all the channels are flown out to Guam (some big events are live via sattelite). My point is, if I hear about Jewel being on TV from this list, I mark it a week later on my calendar and record it. Intel has a commercial hyping their Pentium processors' ability to use CD-Roms and the internet and some junk like that. In it they feature the Launch CD-Rom, and it features a clip of Jewel for about 1/2 second. Still, they mention and show jewel on worldwide TV, even if it's for only 1/2 second. tim gavin "But little does he know, there are no chicks in Santa Cruz." --Leo Kottke, "the other day (near Santa Cruz) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 5 Dec 1996 14:13:05 -0600 (CST) From: "Tim Gavin, The only true paranormal of the Fu Sheng beaver." Okay this question may be just too hard to answer but do people out there have a favorite song that Jewel has done? I can not choose one myself but "Little Sister" has to be up there. Of course I have yet to here anything before Pieces of You. HINT HINT! Seriously though the only thing that I have listened to even close to as much as Jewel is RENT (which is wonderful but that has nothing to do with Jewel (even though I could see her playing a part or two in it!)) Oh by the way when I first saw "The Wizard of Oz In Concert" I had no idea who Jewel was but I watched it three more times after that premiere because I thought "the girl playing Dorothy" was incredible! I asked all of my friends if they saw it and forced my mother (I was still going to High School when I saw it!) to watch it! She is sooo awesome! Anyway, thanks for listening keep in touch about the favorite songs! Hey Becca!
