Afterwards, I got mail from people who must've been listening in on us wanting info on the new song.... so here it is taken from the NIN FAQ v4.999 (yes, that is the real version number): A:29 "What's up with 'Lost Highway' and the new song?" Trent has put together the soundtrack for Twin Peaks creator David Lynch's new movie, Lost Highway. On it will be the movie's score by Angelo Badalamenti, as well as two Marilyn Manson tracks (Apple of Sodom and I Put A Spell On You), songs from David Bowie and Lou Reed, new Smashing Pumpkins, and, you guessed it, a brand spankin' new NIN song titled "the perfect drug", which will be released to radio stations January 20, 1997. The soundtrack is tenatively scheduled to be released on February 11th, 1997. The single for "the perfect drug" will be out in march or april, and might possibly be in EP format. Note: KROQ in LA has recieved a copy of "the perfect drug", and played it for the first time on Friday November 22, 1996. This is not the actual release day, but rather a promotional thing of sorts... So there ya' have it. Chris #!/bin/perl -sp0777i
