I've notice that when ever Jewel mentions men or boys in her song it is in a less than positive circumstatnce. The possible exception may be The Morning Song and YWMFM. I know that most of this is because love songs are usually sung about conflict or heartbreak But she has a lot of songs about men that are negative or tragic. Daddy, Adrian, Fragil Flame, Racecar Driver, MOPGGTW, Daddy She's a Goddess (did she co-write that?), Carnivore, Marital Carnival and probably more are more or less negative or targic. So here's my question: Is this significant? In what way? Am I delusional, or is there something to this observation? Anyway, I'd like to hear what ever you have to say on this subject.
