The band is now a three piece with Steve and Stinky joined by new bass player, Castro. Maybe someone that knows the groups material can answer a question. I don't know the name of the song but Steve and Castro sang it together. Castro did the high harmonies. During one part Steve yells,"Do it, Jewel". The club was very crowded and the view of the stage was blocked. I got very exited with the chance I was about to be in for a suprise. But then Castro tries the high part again and is off key and Steve says, "Sorry Jewel". It sounds like he was making a joke about a song he must have done as a duet with Jewel. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? They would do the harmony parts by just singing a single word and then pause and then another word and pause. For those of you that have never seen the band, don't let the country twang stuff fool you. This band can really cook. Steve is not the only crazy person in the band. They are all totally nuts. They even did a great cover of Prince's "Little Red Corvette". If you are in the San Diego area, KUPR 95.7, is having a front porch concert with Steve. It's free and I think it's tomorrow at 12:00. If interested, let me know. I'll get more info in the morning. I had some good times and some bad times there. Jewel mentioned the word Guam during the Democratic convention hehehe. So where in Guam do you live? I used to live in Agat. I heard it's called New Agat now? I used to go to Oceanview High School. I have many friends that live there too but they never write! They call hurricane's typhoon over there. You know what? After like a big storm or typhoon I would watch the beautiful very colorfull sunsets. I miss those days. Here in the east coast of florida you really can't see good sunsets. Enjoy it while your there. You will miss them. Doesn't the power outages suck? heheheh...hey how old are you? just curious...what school you go to? please ask me what I think of their legends hehehe ...Hafa Adai!(Sounds like Half A Day) "=) ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V1 #678 ***************************
