Since Alan(Mr BB) did such a great job with the tapes, I think Jewel and Lenedra should bring in Alan on the production of her new album. All of you that have heard the JS tapes and agree, should campaign for Alan by writing a letter to Hiranya. If it happens that Jewel agrees, it should happen for the right reason. Not just as a token thank you, but as a true use of a talented person that would have his heart and soul in the work. We of course could then gloat when we see his name on the credits for the CD and say , Yep, that's one of our own. The comments from other EDA's that Alan shared with us were done in the same way an unpaid athlete shows off his trophies. They mean so much more than any payment would have. Alan, keep those treasures as the trophies for your fine work, but leave room for the many more you will soon be getting. There are no "news digests" but there is a news list. So that makes 3 services- jewel, jewel-digest, and jewel-news. The first and third are loose mail, and the second is digest. I think you're talking about when someone mistakenly included a digest to the list. James ________________________________________________________________________ Computer Science/Engineering Eng. Many people get the stickers illegally just so they can park where they want. > I know that it is easy to get that "big brother" or "fatherly" opinion of > anyone that Jewel chooses to spend her time with. She is a big girl > though, and she has made it this far. Karl, you have written a lot of good letters and replies. I especially liked your "Jewel is a PC" reply. But on this one, you totally missed the point. My anger has nothing to do with who Jewel spends her time with. I would react the same if it were your bike. Oh yea, you forgot to tell us that you also are a bike owner. This is also not about bikes. You also missed the point with thinking this letter is about "fatherly" opinions. But whats wrong with that. Even though Jewel is a "big girl", she still seeks out "big sister and motherly advice" from her manager Lenedra. On the other hand, I still will continue reading your letters, because for the most part they are enlightening and very well written and I am never to old to learn something new, even from you. > I'm sure I don't have to tell Igor this: > > It's not nice to pick on people who can't defend themselves.
